Rilasciata l'ennesima versione dei driver Forceware beta, questa volta dotata però di certificazione WHQL

Disponibile per il download una nuova versione di driver beta Forceware per schede video NVIDIA GeForce, da utilizzare con i sistemi operativi Windows 2000 e Windows XP. I driver sono versione 76.50, dotati di certificazione WHQL.

I nuovi driver sono scaricabili in locale da questo indirizzo.

eh già piacerebbe sapere anche a me.
Io ho i 66.93 che funzionano bene a parte una certa scattosità con CMR4, del tutto assente quando usavo una 9800PRO su un pc meno potente...

Ho appena provato ad installarli..non sono WHQL.
Inoltre l'archivio presente sull'ftp di HWUpgrade ha l'nfo e lo spash screen (che compare al posto di quello nvidia in fase di pre installazione) di guru3d, e sul loro sito infatti vengono segnalati come beta.
Gli ultimi certificati rimangono i 76.44 o sbaglio?

Fra l'altro ho appena controllato la pagina del download:

I 76.44 sono gli ultimi, ovviamente non ufficiali, certificati WHQL, e introducono il supporto OpenGL 2.0, cosa che nei driver ATI c'è già dai Catalyst 5.3...

Provati sul mio sistema Asus A8nSLI con due Gainward 6800 ULTRA Golden Sample....
Al 3D Mark 2005 ne ho guadagnato in punti, ma il sistema si freeza, , si blocca il puntatore del mouse, costringendomi a resettare il PC, no c'e' un tempo fisso, a sedconda di come gli gira, in una occasine ho fatto girare tutto il 3d mark 2005, al termine dopo il punteggio si e piantato tutto, oggi dopo 30 sec dall' avvio del Pc, il sistema si e' piantato nuovamente.
Ergo, disinstallati e reinstallato gli ufficiali.

Provati

è una settimana che l'ho installati priva avevo i eXtreme 76.44 ed andavano una meravigia, 6600GT della POV, Asus P5GD2 Deluxe firmware 1007 o.s. XP sp2. Per il momento niente di rilevante, la velocità è la stessa, 3800 punti con 3dmark 05, forse qualche compatibilità o miglioramenti cno i giochi. Cmq appena escono gli extreme G 76.50 li metto al volo perchè ci sono 2 cose importanti, OC manuale e il refresh in 3D forzato, e questi senza mettere gli RCtols..ciaooooozzzz
