usb 2.0

ciao,
ho uan chiave certamente 2.0 e una scheda madre asus a7v600-x con usb 2.0 ma la velocità di transfer è quella di una 1.1
c'è modo di abilitare la 2.0 su linux?o verificare le effettive velocità selle porte?

Deve essere caricato il driver ehci-hcd, è molto strano se non ti è stato caricato automaticamente. Attento che non sempre tutte le porte hardware sono usb 2.0, alcune possono essere 1.1

Un pò bassina per un usb 2.0

Non sono sicuro, date le informazioni che hai inviato, che sia effettivamente connesso alle porte ehci.
Affinché il dispositivo vada in usb 2, devi ottenere qualcosa tipo:

La velocità raw è di 70Mbit/sec, non credo che puoi pretendere molto di più da un dispositivo di quel tipo.
Però la velocità del file system è decisamente inferiore (1.5GB/10min = ~20Mbit/sec); cosa riporta cat /proc/self/mounts quando il dispositivo viene "montato"?

Forse la differenza è dovuta al fatto che la scrittura su flash è di norma molto più lenta della lettura. Per averne la certezza occorrerebbe fare un test di scrittura sul device, bypassando il file system, ma sarebbe un procedimento distruttivo.

Puoi provare il trasferimento di un grosso file da windows e vedere quanto ci mette? (compreso l'eventuale tempo per "smontare" il dispositivo, se non trascurabile)

No no, in usb 1.1 dovresti avere velocità addirittura più ridotte. Provare per credere, rimuovendo il driver ehci_hcd.

Credo che sia una limitazione nella velocità in scrittura della flash, comunque. Se rileggi il file da 1.5GB, dovresti osservare una velocità nettamente maggiore, se vuoi provare...

Quindi non è un problema di connessione usb, ma di lentezza di scrittura della flash della tua penna.
