Facevo lo stesso discorso sul riconoscimento hardware in un altro thread: se Knoppix ha già i suoi moduli e le sue belle cosine per rilevare l'hardware quasi perfettamente, a che serve una distribuzione (tra quelle più tendenti al mondo desktop, intendo) che magari non lo fa o lo fa maluccio o diversamente? A perderci tempo? Lo stesso dicasi dei gestori di pacchetti: se ce n'è uno che va bene e altri che vanno meno bene, a che serve svilupparne di diversi? Usate quello che funziona! ![]() ![]() Ovviamente questo si estende a tutte le funzioni di una macchina desktop (perchè capisco che ci siano esigenze differenti in ambito server o comunque dedicato). Ci vorrebbe così poco a creare una distro seria e solida ma facilissima, che soddisfi lo smanettone e aiuti l'esordiente senza pregiudicare la configurabilità del sistema. Certe volte mi vengono i nervi a vedere come divergono sempre più tra di loro le ditribuzioni: è come per il PAL e il NTSC. Andrebbe lapidato l'imbecille che ha detto "si, due formati diversi, teniamoli così, è inutile crearne uno migliore e universale". ![]() P.S. Ammazza quanto ho scritto. ![]() |

Ok, ho messo debian, pensavo peggio. Effettivamente a girare cosi nel sistema e su internet è molto più veloce. Ora qui vediamo di installare emule, poi apro un'altra discussione perchè non riesco a impostare il monitor a 1280 X 1024.. solo 640 X 480 o 800 X 600
![]() La scgeda video è una TNT2 e il monitor è un Samsung SyncMaster 173P.. ho il cd di installazione del monitor dove la Suse mi aveva trovato i driver.. |

Prima scaricati ed installati: 1) http://www.amule.org/files/details.php?file=25 2) http://www.amule.org/files/details.php?file=26 Poi io ti consiglio di compilare questo tarball invece del solito rpm da installare: http://www.amule.org/files/details.php?file=122 L'rpm è comodo ma alle volte da problemi di dipendenza anche quando le librerie ci sono oppure richiede maggiori dipendenze di un targz.... Almeno questa è la mia esperienza personale con aMule. ![]() |

make install deve essere dato come utente root...
Quindi per compilare un pacchetto devi fare (generalmente): ./configure make su >inserisci password root< make install fammi sapere se era questo il problema (non ho visto altro)..... ciao! |
