A me per esempio non fa attivare la protezione stack applicata del hardware in modalità kernel per via dell'EA easy anticheat.

antitracker a ad-blocker sono cose ben diverse da antivirus eh. Anzi l'home banking per poter essere certo della tua identità probabilmente ha bisogno di cookies e/o di sistemi di "tracking" (nel senso autenticazione) forti.
mi pare che alcuni siti che richiedono autenticazioni forti non funzionano proprio con gli antitracker troppo aggressivi.
gli stessi browser hanno vari livelli di protezione privacy, quella più alta avverte che "rompe" alcuni siti.

OK, comunque tieni presente che più si avvicina ottobre e la data di scadenza del supporto ufficiale su Windows 10, più si avvicina il momento in cui Microsoft può.... Quando chiudere quella finestra equivaleva acconsentire all'aggiornamento a 10 nonostante tu non l'avessi fatto esplicitamente cliccando sul pulsante apposito....

... in 10 anni di Windows 7 , quand'è che ho avuto un crash? Il giorno 14 gennaio 2020... Extended EOL...

Si, se fosse solo la banca non mi preoccuperei, ma nell'elenco di chi chiede vedo anche altri nomi, a meno che non siano terze parti coinvolte nelle verifiche della connessione.

Io, per non saper ne leggere ne scrivere, a scanso di equivoci a ogni richiesta strana, click sul pulsante che restituisce un fingerprint con informazioni farlocche. Come diceva il responsabile della sicurezza durante le riunioni: "fidarsi è bene, ma, non fidarsi è meglio".

Beh, ovviamente, più processi teniamo aperti e più le prestazioni ne risentono.

In un mondo ideale, che oramai è pura UTOPIA e dove nessuno mai cercherà di accedere a dati sensibili violando gli accessi altrui, potremmo avere i PC privi di antivirus, antitracker, antispam, antiAD ecc. guadagnando notevolmente in prestazioni.

Tuttavia, in tutta sincerità, con isolamento core attivo e in aggiunta pacchetto total protection + Windows defender che dialogano perfettamente tra di loro, non ho visto differenze degne di nota.

Tieni presente che da parecchi anni, almeno da Windows XP, non utilizzo più il PC per i giochi, quindi, anche se perdo qualche nanosecondo in qualche meandro della sua architettura, non mi cambia comunque la vita.

probabilmente c'è un impatto sulle prestazioni, seppur minimo. il problema secondo è che qualche periferica potrebbe avere qualche problemino attivandolo... certo che poi mamma microsoft risponderà che il driver è scritto coi piedi e avrà pure ragione, ma se ti serve purtroppo ti devi arrangiare, disattivandolo

Se non te ne accorgi senza quel tool vuol dire che non è un errore che ti da fastidio o crea problemi. Ignoralo come tanti altri errori e segnalazione che trovi anche in visualizzatore eventi di Windows.

Il motivo temo nessuno saprebbe indicartelo senza l'esatto messaggio di evento critico che appare in monitoraggio affidabilità, COM Surrogate è solo il nome di uno dei millemila processi di Windows, tra l'altro il file vero e proprio è dllhost.exe. Ti cerco qualche risorsa online che spieghi meglio cosa è:

Come ho già spiegato, di solito appena escono mi fiondo su Windows Update e contemporaneamente scrivo la news qui sul forum. Alcune volte scrivo prima la news e poi subito dopo mi fiondo. Una volta era successo di aver scritto la news prima di fiondarmi, convinto che l'aggiornamento fosse scaricabile da Windows Update invece era solo sul Catalogo Microsoft

Avete visto che figata che adesso su Windows Update compare il numero di build ancora prima di scaricare l'aggiornamento?
