Sì era una licenza a 99 centesimi, è quel che ho scritto in diversi interventi. Comunque l'ho da poco testata sul pc freedos: è perfettamente funzionante, quindi i tuoi (e non solo tuoi) dubbi erano infondati. Ti dirò di più, il venditore mi ha rimborsato ugualmente perché appunto non ero riuscito a fare l'upgrade, sottolineando che è un'azienda seria e che posso comunque utilizzare il codice per attivare la copia su altro pc. Ha infine specificato che per l'upgrade occorre una chiave FPP (le Retail) che al momento non avevano disponibile ma che avrebbe avuto anche un costo maggiore (tutte cose che già sappiamo). Altro che truffatori e licenze farlocche.. Per me questo è un venditore serio.

E io sono d'accordo con te, perché anche dimenticando tutti gli aspetti tecnici e procedurali, ma a 0.99 € non ti paghi nemmeno i costi vivi della corrente elettrica consumata dal PC e dal modem che utilizzi per stare on line.

E anche se provenissero da centinaia di PC aziendali dismessi, considerando che la licenza in linea di principio è valida a vita, ma vorrai almeno pagarti i costi di svincolo dal precedente proprietario e il lavoro che scaturisce per rimetterle in circolo legalmente ?

Non voglio sembrare prevenuto, ma ogni prodotto ha un prezzo di mercato minimo sotto il quale viene meno la convenienza, ma soprattutto, la catena di approvvigionamento lascia forti dubbi.

Insomma, 0.99 € sono comunque monetine con le quali non ci comperi più nemmeno 1 caffè e se pensate che nessuno lavora gratis, a quanto le hanno acquistate ? Sicuramente un tot al Kg i PC aziendali che le utilizzavano.

tempi (particolarmente) duri per chi ha CPU Intel :
l'eccessivo ricorso alla "speculazione" per velocizzare "°!° °!° e mazzi vari" vanifica gli sforzi di MS contenuti in 24H2 tesi a rimuovere l'accesso non autorizzato ad informazioni chiave dal proprio OS (che poi sono evidentemente usati come trampolino di lancio per)..

Le settimane scorse un aggiornamento (credo fosse un kb che terminava con 5255 o una cosa simile) mi ha causato problemi (impossibilità di aprire le cartelle di windows con il click) e quindi l'ho eliminato e bloccato gli aggiornamenti.

Fra un po' gli aggiornamenti saranno sbloccati e quindi vi chiedo come posso comportarmi, nel caso il pc installi tutto e poi io mi trovi con il problema di prima.

Posso disinstallare solo il solito aggiornamento incriminato e lasciare eventuali aggiornamenti successivi, o devo comportarmi diversamente?

In cronologia aggiornamenti non trovi niente per ricordartelo?

Intanto fai un backup dell'attuale situazione tramite programma per la creazione di immagini del disco o del sistema (esempio Macrium Reflect, Hasleo Backup Suite, Acronis, Veeam ecc), quindi lascia stare tutto com'è, se l'aggiornamento verrà reinstallato singolarmente o più probabilmente se il prossimo secondo martedì di giugno quando arriverà il cumulativo verrà caricato anche il codice di quell'aggiornamento, vedrai cosa succede. Magari sei fortunato, hanno risolto un bug o un problema di cattiva combinazione con altro software ed il malfunzionamento non si verificherà. Se si riverifica pari pari si vede poi cosa fare, mal che vada si ripristina l'immagine di backup e si vede che succede con il cumulativo di luglio.

Non ci sono garanzie che la mia esperienza rispecchierà anche la tua (avevo un problema diverso), ma posso dirti che quando ho disinstallato un update problematico e poi Windows l'ha reinstallato, terminato il periodo di "pausa", non avevo più avuto problemi. Probabilmente negli altri update installati contestualmente c'era anche la soluzione al problema nel mio caso (app "Settings" che crashava appena la aprivo su W11 24H2)

Guarda, a volte gli aggiornamenti automatici, soprattutto quando avvengono in coincidenza con altri aggiornamenti, possono dare luogo a errori anche semplicemente per la sequenza delle installazioni che non va diciamo secondo l'ordine prestabilito.

Prova ad andare in: cronologia degli aggiornamenti e poi in disinstalla aggiornamenti, li dentro troverai solo alcuni di tutti gli aggiornamenti eseguiti dal tuo PC.

Attraverso le date, individua quelli più recenti e soprattutto quelli a cavallo di quello che ti ha dato errore e disinstallali.

Fallo tranquillamente, non succederà nulla di grave, poi, fai un bel riavvio o meglio ancora spegni e dopo qualche secondo dallo shutdown, riaccendi e fai fare a Windows 11 una ricerca degli aggiornamenti, lui troverà quelli disinstallati insieme a quello che ti ha dato errore e li installerà a nuovo, incrocia le dita e attendi. 9 volte su 10 l'errore si risolve, in ogni caso, il peggio è che tutto rimanga come attualmente, nel caso, non toccare più nulla e attendi il prossimo cumulativo.

Io ti consiglierei di non dare retta alle "diagnosi" che si trovano in rete, nemmeno quelle targate MS, se leggi le risposte il 90 % di chi e ha seguite non ha risolto un bel nulla, anzi spesso ha peggiorato la situazione.

Poi, decidi tu.

Fixed: When using Tab and Shift + Tab to move keyboard focus around the taskbar, if you go backwards at least once you can get keyboard focus stuck on the taskbar frame, which could lead screen readers to just say “pane.”

Fixed: On login, the keyboard focus might unexpectedly be set to widgets in the taskbar, which can cause widgets to open.

[Voice Access]

New! Voice access now includes an in-product experience that highlights new features and improvements. Use the settings menu to open or dismiss it anytime.

New! You can find voice access under Accessibility in Quick Settings at the lower-right corner of your screen near the clock. To open Quick Settings, select the network, volume, or battery icon.

Fixed: Voice access might stop responding with error “working on it” when dictating.

[Voice Typing] New! You control the profanity filter. When you turn it on, it masks profanity with asterisks. When you turn it off, words appear as spoken. To change the setting, open voice typing (Win + H), select the settings icon, and turn on the Filter profanity switch.

[Windows Share]

New! Make last-minute edits such as cropping, rotating, and adding filters to images shared through the Windows Share window.
