About End Game:

Like, I wouldn't recommend going in there with a Hardcore character unless you have a death wish and a box of tissue nearby. _______________ Two handed versus one handed weapon stats by JamusT » Thu Aug 16, 2012 7:55 am The quick answer has already kinda been covered but here's a recap, 2h more dmg to secondary targets and a higher overall base dmg, which also translates to a bit more oomph for % won dmg skills. Dual wield does less dmg to the secondaries in general, they have a chance to execute though which is a double strike so they have burst dmg that is less reliable. Sword and board gives up the bigger dmg of 2 h weapons and the execute chance but you gain a block % and more armor. In addition certain weapons have varied characteristics such as hammers having a stun chance and claws having no damage shape but ignoring a % of their armor I believe... Ultimately any weapon combo is viable for any class, it's more about how you like to play the game. Certainly some wepons will be more ideal when paired with specific skills .. But overall it's all about what you enjoy. Want to make a dual wield wandzerker? Go for it, like the idea of a sword and board Mage? Carry on. I think Travis and Erich and all the guys who worked on the combat mechanics of this game have done a really magnificent job of presenting as many options as possible to the player to cater to your own play style aand still somehow managed to make them all viable and fun. Honestly I often find myself making new builds based off weapons I wouldn't normally have chosen just because I got lucky with a sweet drop. It's stupid fun, and I think when we release soon you will hopefully feel the same.

Update:
by JoystickMonkey » Fri Aug 17, 2012 6:24 pm To clarify, much of the game is complete. Pretty much all of the art assets, levels, etc. are done, and the main things that are left are for Marsh and Travis to finalize monsters, monster skills, player skills, and boss fights in the parts of the game that are still incomplete. This gets interrupted frequently when bugs pop up, but usually those can get tamped down fairly quickly. Everyone else is either playing the game or supporting Marsh and Travis by providing content for what Marsh and Travis are working on. This support could come in the form of an animation or particle for a new skill, a variant of a monster, a new/improved area to support a quest or special dungeon, unique art (like eggs!!!) to be placed in those areas, UI art for new skills... you get the idea. We may also be trying to cram little bits of goodness into the game as well, or contributing to the project how we can.

Mi piace l'organizzazione delle skill con i 3 livelli, ma non mi piace il menù in sé, troppo squadrato e grezzo. Per ogni skill vorrei il quadratone un pò più rifinito.
Non che sia un grosso problema eh, posso conviverci
