e' da mesi che lo dicevo... ora finalmente si ha quasi la certezza che anche le top di gamma saranno a 65 e con le caratteristiche del g92
chissa' magari aumenteranno ulteriormente il numero degli shaders portandolo a 160/192

A slide from a marketing presentation for the 8800 GT has slipped out and it finally answers the question so many have been wondering about. The GeForce 8800 GT will have 112 shader processors and a clock frequency of 1.5 GHz. This is a big step up from the 96 shaders running at 1.2 GHz we heard about some time ago. The GeForce 8800 GT will most likely also sport a 600 MHz core clock, but some partners will offer higher frequencies, NVIDIA might even bump the reference, coupled with a 256 bit memory bus and 900 MHz GDDR3 memory. The size of the memory is up for the partners to decide. The price? MSRP is $199-249 USD, which is probably party due to the 65 nm process which was recently confirmed by DailyTech.

si certo. ma aggiungo anche un, bella scoperta. è ovvio che se sarà cosi....è inutile aggiungere altro. quello che dicevo io è che quella news non dice questo. anzi sul futuro delle top non dice nulla.
è chiaro ora?

The card scored 19,881 in 3DMark05 and 12,072 in 3DMark06, both at default settings. It looks like this could be a pretty decent card for the money if these figures are indeed correct.

The Shader Model 2.0 score in 3DMark06 was 5,431 and the Shader Model 3.0 score was 5,232.

si può quasi dire con certezza che la gts320 sarà sorpassata tranquillamente da questa GT...cioè, si può dire da un po' ma ormai è praticamente certo...

e io invece continuo a pensare che la nuova top sarà una dualpcb con due schede g92

con tutta qesta rullata di titoli importanti in qeste sett e' importante dare l'ennesimo segnale di reattivita' da parte di nvidia.. (dando x scontato che amd-ati fara' resizing di dimensioni e le prestaz cambieranno qasi di nulla).
E se facessero sia la dual ke le nuove GTX/ULTRA con + SP?
al prezzo di qelle di oggi?!

è vecchia(di luglio)ma alcune cose coincidono 8800gt e 8800gs che li chiama 8900. le frequenze e il resto coincide a parte gli shader 112 invece di 96. interessanti le altre che chiama 8900. ovviamente è cambiato il proc. prod.

La cosa interessante è la 8950gx, magari è un indizio che nvidia stesse già a luglio pensando a una scheda dual gpu di fascia alta, con 512MB*2
