I am not changing anything when I update from 3.0.7 to 3.1.2->3.1.4
When I go back to 3.0.7 without changing anything, 3.0.7 works!

in modem mode, the dgn2200v4 is only a modem and not a router; a modem just does the atm connection, the modulation demodulation needed to create a connection between the remote modem and the local modem; there is no ppp ipoa and so on connection, no routing, no tcp/ip stuff

I did this as well but had to click on start too. It now works.

Edit: Yes, this method works and survives a reboot too.

A new question: Can I access the router via WinSCP? I can telnet in and poke around, but it would be easier with WinSCP.

Hello,
I can access my DGN2200V4 using WinSCP; for V3, I'm not sure, but you can give it a try without problem. If you can access but cannot list the files, try using lUa instead of ls command.

Trying SFTP gives:
Cannot initialize SFTP protocol. Is the host running a SFTP server?

Trying SCP gives:
Unexpected directory listing line 'drwxr-xr-x 14 0 Jan 1 1970 .'.

Am I missing a setting in WinSCP?

scp is par of dropbear; it means you have to start dropbear in services/amod; also, in WinSCP configuration you have to specify the ls command as ls -lUa

Connexion has to be in SCP protocol, using standard User an Password.
Click Edit, then Advanced. In SCP/shell, Listing command, change : ls -la by : ls -lUa

If still not working, that could mean that SCP is not yet implemented for DGN2200V3 (according the Changelogs, it is implemented since last week for DGN2200V4 and DGN3500, no info for V3...). Only Alfonso can help you...

Buonasera Alfonso,

stasera ho provveduto a promuovere il mio DGN2200v3 da semplice modem ( associato al router Asus ) a modem+router, giusto per metterlo un po' alla prova e vedere il tuo lavoro.

Ti volevo chiedere : mi confermi che non si può settare un SNMP per monitorare la WAN? Ho attivato l'UPNP ma temo che legga valori non corretti

così su due piedi non so risponderti; il 2200V3 che funziona da modem soltanto non ha un indirizzo pubblico, per raggiungere la sua interfaccia da Internet, innanzitutto devi poterla raggiungere dalla LAN e questo dipende dal router a cui è connesso, non dal 2200V3

una volta che hai raggiunto il 2200V3 dalla LAN, puoi provare a mettere qualche regola di port forwarding nel router che rimandi al modem; però, siccome il 2200V3 sarà in un'altra net rispetto al router, la cosa non è sicuramente fattibile su interfaccia grafica del router

insomma, quello che vuoi fare, così su due piedi, è particolarmente difficoltoso

se invece non ho capito che cosa vuoi fare, spiegati :P

non c'è né è previsto in futuro il supporto a cose del genere

leggo dalla pagina di quel programma che nell'airport hanno nascosto l'opzione per attivare snmp, una ragione ci sarà (del tipo che rendeva tutto lentissimo o consumava troppe risorse)?

suvvia, parliamo di routerini non del controllo di un nodo elettrico che dà corrente a roma

Ragazzi salve a tutti, mi serviva un'informazione. Con amod come posso fare per eseguire un comando appena l'interfaccia wan sale sopra ? Ho un mio servizio per il dns dinamico, devo semplicemente eseguire questo comando: curl -q http://miodominio/ip_auto.php. Grazie mille.

Nel 2200v3 c'era la voce, ma non sono riuscito a trovarla nel 2200v4. Grazie mille.
