che differenza c'e' tra le ISO i586 e PPC.quale mi conviene scaricare per il sistema in uso?A7V266-E athlon 1700, 2 HD maxtor da 37Gb, SB audigy, radeon 8500, master.LG, DVD samsung, DDR 512 Mb

iso x I586= iso per processori dai pentium in su
iso x ppc=iso per processori pps, ovvero per sistemi equipaggiati con processori motorola o ibm (es apple). direi che dovresti scaricare quelle per intel.

PPC vuol dire PowerPC ed è per la piattaforma powerpc di IBM sul quale è basata anke ii Mac di Apple, e tutti i processori G3-4.
Tu devi scaricare i586 (per Pentium o superiori) Ciao
