Forceware 81.98 da NVIDIA

NVIDIA propone una nuova revision dei propri driver Forceware ufficiali, dotati di certificazione WHQL e disponibili per tutte le versioni di sistema operativo Windows

NVIDIA ha reso disponibili nelle ultime ore nuovi driver Forceware per schede video della serie GeForce, giunti alla release 81.98. I nuovi driver sono dotati di certificazione WHQL Microsoft, e introducono tra le novità il supporto al de-interlacing nella riproduzione di filmati MPEG-2.

I driver sono scaricabili, nelle versioni per tutti i sistemi operativi Windows, dalla sezione software di Hardware Upgrade, ai seguenti indirizzi:

le leggi il file .pdf noterai che Nvidia invece presenta meglio...

CMQ li sto usando adesso e almeno x me sono ottimi, hanno corretto gli errori di rendering con need for speed most wanted e con la mia 6800ultra vado da dio

commander view to zoomed sniper view.
• GeForce 6800: Shimmering or cropping of the full-screen video mirror
occurs when covering the video window with another window.
• GeForce 6150/6100, Windows XP Media Center Edition: The driver
does not recognize display connection changes that occur during a
system shutdown.
• GeForce 6100/6150, Windows Media Center Edition 2005 Update
Rollup 2: HD modes are listed as available when a TV is connected
using S-Video.
• GeForce 6150/6100, Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005: The
display remains inactive when resuming from Suspend mode.
• GeForce FX 5200: Textures disappear in CrimeLife v105.
• GeForce4 Ti 4200, Windows 98: Java applications crash when calling
OpenGL.

Speriamo migliori qualcosa...

Ma.. Il nuovo pannello di controllo? Tanto fumo e niente arrosto? Certo, meglio quello attuale dei 40 e passa mega che occupa il cataclysm center. Però un cambiamento nel segno della praticità non guasterebbe.

Per ora aspetto a scaricare.

Si sa se per il de-interlacing in MPEG2 serva sempre il decoder PureVideo? Oppure è abilitato e lo fa il programma?

azz han risolto il bug delle ombre di splinter cell... quando ormai l'ho finito
comunque meno male che sono usciti, li aspettavo per reinstallare l'os
concordo sul fatto che ci vorrebbe un nuovo pannello di controllo... non pesante come quello ATI, per carità, ma qualcosa di un po' più carino e razionale... i forceware li lasciai ai tempi della geforce3, e ora li ritrovo identici... ati nel frattempo è invece mutata parecchio
