Ace's Hardware ha pubblicato una guida tecnica molto completa all'overclocking delle cpu AMD SocketA; la trovate a questo indirizzo

Virtual Channel SDRAM works fine with the ABIT KT7, and it is the highest performance SDRAM solution. VC SDRAM was able to work at 143 MHz, CAS 3 (107 MHz FSB, 4/3 SDRAM/FSB). At this speed, VC SDRAM was about 5% faster in Quake 3 and 3% faster in MDK2, compared to a "no name" PC133 SDRAM at the same speed (and CAS 3). Expendable reported that VC SDRAM was 1% faster, but this is within the error margin of the benchmark.

Twice, I also encountered a black screen with the message "Can not write to AUX device", which resulted in a total lockup. I am not sure whether the ABIT KT7 should be blamed for that, but it is the first time I have encountered this issue. A BIOS update did not fix the problem, but the problem reoccurred infrequently, twice in seven weeks. I also noticed that ABIT's boards seem to have slightly more problems that ASUS and MSI's boards, judging on the testimonies of big resellers and on the experiences posted on different message boards.
