A questo indirizzo è stata pubblicata un'analisi dei round cable IDE, cavi per hard disk e periferiche EIDE che riducono al minimo l'interferenza dei flussi d'aria all'interno del case. Esteticamente, e funzionalmente, sono ottimi ma il loro costo è decisamente elevato:

The cables retail around $40 mark here in Australia. This is a fair amount of money for an IDE cable, considering a normal IDE cable is only worth a few dollars. Is this too much for a simple cable? If you aren't worried about air flow in your case (more overclockers do!) and your aren't worried about the look of your case, then the money might be better spent elsewhere. My case is slowly being modded, and this mod has by far been the simplest and by far the most professional :)

There are only 2 real downsides to the cables. Firstly price is the biggest killer, but it's up to you to figure out if the cost is worth it or not. Secondly, the fact that they don't come in varying sizes. I would also like to see them with an option of only 2 plugs per cable (instead of the usual 3).
