[Ubuntu 12.10][GNOME][Scheda di rete "inattiva"]["Cavo Scollegato"]

Come da titolo la scheda ethernet del mio portatile da un giorno all'altro ha deciso di darmi questo particolare problema.

Particolare perchè le lucette della porta ethernet sono accese e perchè mi da lo stesso problema con più cavi e in più posti (casa,uni,lavoro)

allora dopo aver indagato meglio tra i vari log ho capito di avere il problema del modulo r8169 che sembra dare qualche problema.
seguendo la guida sul wiki sono andato per scaricare i moduli adatti alla mia scheda. solo che tutti i link non funzionano quindi non so come scaricarli.

il punto è che quando vado per scaricare la patch mi apre una pagina con il file testuale senza scaricarlo.

e tra l'altro la patch si riferisce alla versione r8101 - 1.007 invece l'ultima versione è 1.0023

novità, seguendo questo post qui:

sono riuscito quanto meno a far riapparire il pulsante On/Off su connessione via cavo. ora il punto è farlo connettere.

ok ho scaricato la patch, ora dovrei installarla nella cartella che indica quel post nel forum in inglese. solo che quella specifica che indica lui non l'ho trovata..simile si, quindi mi si ripresenta il dilemma di come e dove installare questa patch

beh continuando con la guida sono magicamente riuscito a risolvere, adesso si è collegato con il cavo. vediamo come và prossimamente.
