Mdk 8.2 con driver NVidia...

Questo problemino mi assilla da diverso tempo...
In pratica ho scaricato gli ultimi driver da sito di NVidia (2802) e li ho installati.
Prima ho utilizzato il comando make install e poi editato XF86Config-4:

Ma non mi partiva più X.

Quindi ho utilizzato gli rpm e rieditato XF86Config-4 nello stesso modo.
Ora: X mi è ripartito regolarmente ma non ho visto nessun logo di NVidia all'avvio, cosa che succedeva con MDK 8.1, e poi non mi parte Tux Racer... Come posso verificare che siano correttamente installati 'sti benedetti driver?

ho dato un'occhiata al file di configurazione di x che hai postato e mi sembra a posto... (bisogna fare un paio di modifiche, nulla di che).

anche io ho i driver 2802 di nvidia e ogni volta che parte x mi viene mostrato il logo (fastidioso, quindi prontamente disattivato).

per una prova del nove dai /sbin/lsmod e guarda se tra i moduli caricati trovi NVdriver

per tuxracer, lancialo da console così puoi vedere che messaggio di errore da.
