Installazione mybb. Problema!
Ecco il mio problema.
Ho uppato tutti i file in www.miosito.it/forum, vado in www.miosito.it/forum/install ma mi dice questo: Not Found The requested URL /forum/install/index.php was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/2.2.13 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.13 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_jk/1.2.25 PHP/5.2.10 mod_perl/2.0.4 Perl/v5.8.8 Server at www.miosito.it Port 80 Come mai? |

Come posso vedere?
E' il mio primo server di primo livello (.org). Ho messo i file del mybb nella cartella forum, ma andando su www.xxx.org/forum o www.xxx.org/forum/install o www.xxx.org/forum/install/indexphp esce Not Found The requested URL /forum was not found on this server. Ora pero' ho questo problema: quando sto installando il mybb in Requirements Check dice Configuration File Writable: Not Writable come risolvo? |

Come ho già detto è un problema di permessi. Leggi i link che ho postato ed utilizza il tuo client ftp per modificarli.

Ora sono al database. Database Server Hostname: metto localhost ma niene, dice Error There seems to be one or more errors with the database configuration information that you supplied: * Could not connect to the database server at 'localhost' with the supplied username and password. Are you sure the hostname and user details are correct? Once the above are corrected, continue with the installation. Cosa devo mettere? |

Crea prima il database ed assegnagli poi un utente con relativa password.
Comunque, permettimi, prima di andare in produzione, avresti fatto bene a sperimentare in locale... |

Lo so hai ragione, pero' io faci prove col phpbb su altervista, e fu tutto più facile e veloce!
Ora il mio problema non sono il nome e utente del database ma il Database Server Hostname che non c'è scritto qualè, ne sul cpanel ne su l'email! Comunque ho mandato una mail al gestore per sentire un po |
