vabbè..cmq il commento del tizio sui 7 pixel bruciati come limite è fuori luogo dopo tutto il tempo che abbiamo passato con la viewsonic al telefono a chiedere spiegazioni..

Non ho mai visto di persona i monitor Samsung...ho visto un philips 18.1" e l'Acer AL922 e sicuramente posso dire che tra questi il VX900 è il migliore...Se volete un confronto con il Samsung 191T leggetevi la recensione di effector nel 3d da 60 pagine sugli LCD...
Per il fatto del contrasto lo so anche io che i valori dei CRT si attestano sul 700:1 mentre x il VX900 è max 600:1 (700:1 il Sony 19" LCD), però io ti posso dire che la nitidezza delle immagini è unica!
Per quanto riguarda l'effetto scia vi posso dire che in effetti un po' si nota, ma nella maggior parte dei giochi non ci si fa quasi caso...i 25ms dichiarati credo siano effettivi
La regolazione del colore prevede 4 intensità preimpostate (9300k,6500k,5400k,5000k) + una totalmente personalizzabile.Io adesso sto usando la 6500k e i colori sono brillantissimi...
Per quanto riguarda l'estetica sono molto soddisfatto...l'abbinamento di colori argento/nero è davvero molto elegante, i tasti a sfioramento sono una figata pazzesca! ig:
Per finire, le casse audio sonoun po' scarsine come potenza (ma è normale che sia così) ma sono sufficienti se uno vuole ascoltarsi un po' di musica a basso volume....
Spero di avervi chiarito un po' le idee, anche se ritengo che non ci sia niente di meglio che vederlo di persona (cosa che xò mi fa l'idea sia praticamente impossibile) prima dell'acquisto...io l'ho fatto a scatola chiusa ma non me ne sono affatto pentito...L'unica paura che avevo era di trovare alcuni pixel bruciati, ma è andata bene (manco uno! )

mi sa proprio di si...tanto col pivot non ci faccio una minchia..di guardare la tv col monitor non se ne parla e non faccio grafica professionale...chemmenefrega...coi 300 euri che risparmio mi ci compro la eliminator ltd dell'anno prossimo (è una tavola da snow per chi non è pratico..)...io vado di viewsonic..

Come mai nessun è interessato a questi 2 monitor:
Nec 1920nx
Hitachi CML 1920 SXWB

Si trovano facilmente in rete (ESSEDI, EPTO) e allo stesso prezzo del samsung 191 t anche se non hanno il pivot.
Eppure sono marche blasonatissime e offrono un ottimo servizio garanzia...che numero di pixel difettosi garantiscono?
Rispondetemi, perchè io sono molto interessato ad un imminente acquisto

Le ragioni le ho scritte nell'altro post..in ogni caso noi siamo partiti dal presupposto delle varie recnsioni online da cui abbiamo dedotto i nostri giudizi,tenendo conto delle nostre esigenze e della sostanziali differenze tra monitor a 19" e quelli a risoluzioni più basse.
Senza contare i (pochi) che hanno acquistato il vx900..tutti soddisfatti,dal monitor e dall'assistenza...del iiyama neanche a parlarne..non credo si possa essere insoddisfatti di quel monitor..cmq come vedi un grosso peso lo ha dato la disponibilità e la serietà dell'azienda nell'assistenza on site.

Per le assistenze devi telefonare personalmente a Nec ed Hitachi ma dubito che siano cosi disponibili verso il cliente..cmq provare non costa nulla.

No l'ho preso da una società d'informatica qui a Roma...da eprice se vuoi puoi ordinarlo quando vuoi..tanto cmq loro vengono riforniti abbastanza speso...in ogni caso informati prima magari

This flatpanel is just awsome! I can't beleive i got it for a similar price to that of a 17inch flatpanel at the retail stores. Watching a DVD is incredible. No ghosting whatsoever watching a DVD from my PS2 through composite from my video card. For games, i've played icewindale II and it is just very sharp and bright. No ghosting. Watching TV from my ATI All In Wonder 9700 Pro which i also purchased at newegg is just like watching tv on a real tv. No ghosting at all. Colors are as they appear. This flatpanel is also very fast compared to dells. I've worked with dells a lot and they those flatpanels tend to take about 30 seconds to respond from standby or when first turning on. This one takes about 3 seconds. Faster then a CRT to come up!
There is this annoying beep when you touch the buttons. But if you read the manual it shows you how to turn off the beep. A lot less annoying.
Don't let the 8 pixel policy scare you. I had no dead pixels. I also beleive this flatpanel carries a 3 year, parts, labor, and back light warranty. As long as you don't smash it or acts of God happens you should feel safe with this purchase.
As usually Newegg is amazing! I buy everything from newegg. Infact i prefere to buy here compared to anywhere else even if it is 10 bucks more here because of neweggs amazing support!
Keep it up Newegg you rock!

I have tried most all of the brand name LCD's, Samsung, Sony. But I do have to say that the Viewsonic VX900 Has about the best looking display. I ordered it and had it in my hands the next day. No dead pixels. Great for Games / DVD's no motion blur that I saw. Viewsonic must have an excellent quality control. Thanks NewEgg!

This monitor is great, I mainly game and this monitor is tack sharp and I've yet to see any issues. No dead pixels and ran great the first time out of the box.
And as usual, Newegg is the best oline retailer I've ever delt with.

This monitor rocks! I read review after review while researching this monitor, but few commented on the gaming experience so I'm here to tell you that there is very little motion blur in games. I've tried CS, RTCW, UrT (Q3 mod), Combat Flight Sim3, UT2003, MOH:AA, SOF2, Gore, and others and they were fine. The crosshairs look laser bright and crisp; the contrasts are incredible - black is BLACK and the colors are sharper than I've seen on CRT monitors. The tiny amount of blur is (strangely) even less at the native 1280x1024 resolution and as another reviewer said, "you get used to it quickly". I will never go back to CRT. If you are a gamer and looking for a great gaming LCD, click "buy" over the VX900.
BTW, no dead pixels on this panel - don't let the 8 pixel policy scare you.

After performing exhaustive, and obsessive, research on LCD monitors trying to make sure I didn't make a costly mistake I finally decided to take the plunge with the VX900. I was looking for something with excellent brightness and color and also good for gaming. I received the monitor yesterday and I'm absolutely satisfied by the VX900's performance in all of these areas. As soon as I had the thing up a running I kicked off a game of Unreal 2003 in 1280x1024 mode and I was blown away by the depth and vibrancy of the graphics. I didn't see any ghosting. My only concern prior to making the purchase was Newegg's "8 or more DEAD Pixel" policy on replacement but I felt pretty confident that dead pixels wouldn't be a problem based on the reviews I seen and when mine arrived it had 0 dead pixels. I don't think you'll find better performance or value for the money in any other LCD with 19" viewable.

I have installed 3 of these VX900's at work using different DVI graphics cards. The users are actually stunned by what they see! I've compared the VX900 against the Dell 19" LCD both in digital mode. The VX900 is cleaner, brighter, faster and easier on the eyes. Our support director purchased one for my desk and now I'm stunned! The more time I spend with it, the better I like it. OpenGL games, deep colored pages and high end graphics are the best! I'm so sure about VX900, I just purchased and received one for my home desktop. Check this out, "NO BAD PIXELS" on any I've seen so far. Quality control for this model is simply the best I've seen. Using my Gforce4-4400TI, I've been playing RCW at 1280 X 1024 X 32 full screen! Fast, smooth and extremely life like. IMHO, the VX900 is one of those "rare" finds that everyone should take advantage of if they have the bucks. Just remember, no one should run a 19" LCD in analog mode. Plan to purchase a higher end graphics card with DVI to get the best results.

I bought this monitor from newegg about 6 months ago and it has been the best purchase I have made. First newegg delivered the product fast and it showed up damage free (a little credit to Fedex). Second the monitor is very sharp and bright. I do a lot of web development and graphics work and it is the closest I have found to a crt as far as colors and brightness. It's native 1280x1024 resolution is great for desktop real-estate. Most people spend a lot of money on the cpu, case and other peripherials for there pc and get an ok graphics card and monitor, I think this is backwards. If you spend a lot of time working with your pc invest in a good monitor and graphics card.
Do your eyes a favor and give this monitor close consideration,
I am confident it will be the best purchase you make as it was for me.
Make sure to get a good graphics card with DVI output and you will be shocked on the clarity and sharpness of this monitor.

After reading the reviews on this website and months of trying to determine the best LCD monitor, newegg.com, I went ahead and ordered this model in October. With the possible exception of the Apple Cinema Display (which is more $$), this is the best monitor I've ever seen. Its far better than the Compaq LCDs and Viewsonic VG175s we have at work. Highly recommended.

On Tuesday night I placed my order for this monitor and I immediately received confirmation of my order and that my credit card was successfully charged. On Wednesday I received and email with my tracking # and on Thursday I received the monitor. I was impressed since I only paid for the express saver shipping option (although I'm in the same state as newegg). Got the monitor quickly set up with a digital connection to a G4 Ti4600 and all I can say is WOW!!!! I have 0 dead pixels and the text is razor sharp even though the dot pitch is pretty bad (compared to CRT). I would highly recommend this lcd to anyone with enough money and I also recommend purchasing from newegg.

The Short ansewer.... HELL NO!!! Cant say enought great things about this Monitor.. Brightness is fantastic, ghosting?? VERY minimal at frame rates above 50, Mine shipped with 0 dead Pixels. Honestly I think the only monitor Ive ever seen that is better than this is the new Apples, but lets face it.... apples **** ***!!

Great monitor! Very clear & crisp resolution. I have been unable to get digital input to work though(noise lines top to bottom)even after tying to configure my video card. I have not given up though!

I just recieved my VX900 over a week ago and I cannot say enough nice things about it. I will quickly list the good and bad
Bad
1. Speakers are weak (most people have their own, so not an issue)
2. Minor Ghosting on GTA3 (morrowind, RTCW, Q3, Unreal all were great)
3. No portrait mode
Good
1. Great sharpness and geometry
2. DVD quality was great
3. Very little ghosting and you quickly get used to it
4. Colors are rich and vibrant
5. Better gamming experience than my CRT
6. Freakin huge
7. Nice cable management
8. DVI Interface
9. Scales well for games

I have had this monitor for a week now and am truly impressed with it. By far one of the better LCD screens I have seen. The color and brightness of the monitor rivals that of the CRT it replaced. When compared to other LCD monitors this monitor was one of the better ones gaming that I have seen. However, the pixel response time does create some ghosting that is noticeable. Depending on the game, it can look awesome to acceptable. Any game with FPS of around 30-40 looks great, but the higher FPS games looked less spectacular. For DVD movies the monitor is absolutely amazing. The features such as the built in speakers and microphone are totally sub par for this monitor. They are the only thing that I really don?t like. Don?t plan on using them for primary speakers if you listen to any music or do any gaming as they don?t stand up well against a set of $30 speakers I have. The microphone is awful, I attempted to use it for voice communication a few times and the recipient could barely hear me and said it sounded very ?scratchy.? I am more impressed with my $10 microphone then the built in one. Aside from the built in speakers and microphone this is truly a top of the line monitor. With fast pixel response time everything from office programs to DVDs look great as well as some games for the casual gamer, not for the hardcore gamer.

After several months of research, I found the stats to be one of the best for flat panel lcd's. This is by far the best monitor I have used. Mine had zero dead pixels, and clarity with DVI input is superb. You get what you pay for so the price is justified. The only thing that is less than perfect are the mostly useless speakers. Most hard core PC guys wouldn't use them anyway. I have ordered in excess of 30,000 dollars from NewEgg and have yet to have a problem with their service. Good company.

This is one great LCD monitor. It is bright, crisp and text and graphics look terrific. I have had it for about 4 weeks and played several games on it including Morrowind. The response is fast very little blurring at all. Recieved it with zero dead pixels. New Egg is a great place to shop.

with a 25ms full response time View sonic LCD's make one the few viable gaming LCD monitors the VX900, VG191, and their VP23MB. Planar uses the same MVA technology that viewsonic does in order to get ultra low response times but their visual quality isn't the same.
Don't be fooled by the other brands. MVA is where the low response time great gaming is at.

This monitor is simply awesome! Super sharp picture and there are not any dead pixels. There isn't any ghosting problems at all. I have played Maxpayne on this monitor and the response time is incredible. I was astonished to say the least at the performance while playing Maxpayne. Contrast is very good also. Eye strain is totally eliminated with an lcd. I could go on and on. If you are looking for and lcd this is the one to purchase.
