I really don't think the problem is with new version of amod, but with some option that makes it work differently. Please, do a reset of both netgear and amod preferences and restart from a clean env.

I've thought about it too, but decided to ask you first.

It is such a pain to reset all setting. Anyway, seems to be this is the best (and probably only) way.

in the last releases there was a very big change about wireless; to add IMQ support, which is needed for the QoS limiter stuff, a kernel structure needed to be changed; that structure is used by the wireless wl module, which is closed source and so cannot be recompiled to follow the structure changes

I was able to make the wireless module work with the changes and I tested extensively the wifi and all worked fine

I would prefer to try to understand the cause rather than just downgrading to an older firmware

I started the 2200v3 with its wireless and connected one tablet, one phone and a desktop computer to it

the computer is doing 2 debian images downloads via torrent; also is streaming a very long video

the tablet is streaming videos

the phone is doing some random youtube surfing

it all works fine, let's see for how long

Also, additional information. On my side it happened twice after night. I've woke up and found all devices except phone unable to connect wifi.

if so, try to set a fixed one

it is the device that can't initiate an ap scan, it means the device cannot scan for access points...

I think it is unrelated to our issue. Device is able to scan and successfully make list of available networks. This messages appears after failed connection.

I assure that it scans without any problems. Maybe this is device issue, but it never affected connection to the networks previously. I have another android device that had the same log just without message about failed scan.

It contains numbers and _ character. And i use it for a long time.

from one version of amod to another, there is no need to reset netgear options, if not otherwise adviced, because amod is based on the same version, but it might be useful if not essential to reset amod preferences, because they might be changed to reflect new functionalities ...

Beh, ho fatto il test ed ho verificato che nessuna incoming connection nelle varie porte è attiva! Grazie della delucidazione in merito, non volevo certamente mancare di rispetto alla tua operatività e esperienza in tale campo. amod è perfetto!


p.s. = una ultima domanda: Nel sito ufficiale dove i vari update vengono rilasciati vedo fw multipli, quale devo scegliere per effettuare un corretto update? (io sono ancora alla 11 Deluxe) Vorrei essere sicuro che non ci siano immagini beta con qualche problema a livello kernel ma solo quelle stabili e, se tale supposizione sia provata, come sceglierle. Grazie delle disponibilità!
