[ubuntu] Visualizza la cartella in rete ma risulta "protetta da scrittura"
Nonostante abbia spulciato tutte le guide e sottoguide di questo mondo rimango con un problema...
son riuscito a far visualizzare la cartella condivisa (Incoming di aMule) ai pc che in rete girano su Windows..il problema è uno, una volta che da Windows accedo alla cartella e provo a far copia incolla dei file mi dice che la suddetta "è protetta da scrittura" e quindi non copia una cippa....ma io su smb.conf ho impostato "writable=yes". Incollo di seguito le mie impostazioni del file smb.conf : Codice:

da shell devi creare la password samba:
sudo smbpasswd -a "il tuo nome utente" [invio] condividi la cartella via gnome\kde edit: aMule è installato dopo /home/"nome utente"/ ????, vero?

non ho capito bene...ancora sono very noob riguardo linux. Cmq è installata su home/enrico/.aMule , quindi se ho capito bene dopo home ed enrico :P grazie mille, ora faccio delle prove e vedo se funziona! edit: nulla, ho impostato la password e non cambia nulla, su windows da sempre lo stesso errore. Su linux adesso però riesco a visualizzare i computer in rete, cosa che prima non accadeva....ma anche da linux se provo ad accedere ad uno di questi computer mi da l'errore "Impossibile accedere a (nomecomputer)"...tra l'altro in rete va lentissimo. hai un problema di permessi, strano...
prova a riavviare tutto Windows ha lo stesso user\pass di Ubuntu? potresti fare questa prova. Anche se Ubuntu ti dovrebbe chiedere user\pass per accedere da remoto a quella cartella dopo aprire il terminal e scrivi: ls -a -l dovresti cercare questa scritta: drwxr-xr-x 4 nomeutente nomeutente 4096 2007-08-05 16:35 .aMule postami i tuoi permessi di .aMule

la condivisione via interfaccia grafica è identica alla tua, solo che io ho tolto lo spunto da "read only" perchè mi interessa anche poter copiare i file.
per quanto riguarda il terminal ecco la riga drwxrwxrwx 4 enrico enrico 4096 2007-08-05 11:41 .aMule ho riavviato milioni di volte ma sempre lo stesso errore. Infine parlando del nome/user sono differenti ma dubito sia questo il problema, anche perchè i suddetti computer appartengono rispettivamente a mio fratello ed a mio padre quindi non posso modificargli nome e passwd (cmq sia la password nemmeno l'hanno impostata). Mi sembra impossibile, ho fatto tutto come dovuto ma nonostante ciò non accedo...non ho fatto una prova però, ovvero staccare i firewall...posso provare ma sono sicuro che non andrà ugualmente. ok creo account su windows e provo...riguardo la spunta resta il problema, visto che a me serve che mio fratello si prenda la roba da incoming (quindi da windows verso linux) e non viceversa (che sarebbe cmq comodo ma se manco mi fa accedere al suo computer c'è poco da fare). Ti informo sui risultati e grazie mille per la pazienza..

C'è una news!!!
dal terminal se eseguo questo comando riesco cmq ad accedere (visto che c'è il sudo davanti), ciò dimostra che è sul serio un problema di permessi. Cmq sia una volta dentro la rete i comandi per copiare non sembrano funzionare, oppure è perchè sono noob....volendo potrei passare i file da qui al pc di mio fratello, meglio di nulla... ecco cosa compare: Codice:

solo un passo indietro perchè mi sono perso tu da windows devi accedere alla cartella Incoming di Ubuntu, giusto? se da windows scivi in esegui: \\192.168.1.50(l'indirizzo IP di Ubuntu), cosa succede?

non mi viene altro.... io ho in LAN Vista, XP Home, XP Pro e Ubuntu 10.06 ho creato la password samba e utilizzo le stesse user\pass su tutte le macchine, non riscontro problemi se un altro pc, con user\pass diverse prova ad accedere a Ubuntu, chiede user\pass e accede\scambia dati senza problemi
