Aiuto sono disperato....

Ciao!

Sono abbastanza disperato...sono un esordiente totale e ci capisco poco di Linux...

Ho installato la distribuzione di Linux Mandrake 9.2 sul mio portatile Compaq Presario 2154EA. Il problema è che se quando configuro LILO durante l'installazione spunto il supporto per la ACPI, Linux non parte perchè non trova una certa tabella DTNS ( ho qualcosa del genere ). Se invece non faccio partire il supporto per la ACPI, Linux parte che è una meraviglia...solo che non vorrei che lavorendo con la CPU al massimo della frequenza fecessi dei danni e poi la batteria dura pochissimo..

In teoria ma Mandrake 9.2 contiene la patch per la ACPI..non capisco perchè non vada..ho provato anche a installare i pacchetti che contenevano la parola ACPI ma niente....

Ho fatto il DMESG ma non ci capisco nulla...ve lo allego:
