FreeBSD:partenza di X
Salve, ho installato poco fa FreeBSD 4.8. L'installazione è andata a buon fine.Il problema è adesso far partire X
Ho quella schifosa scheda che prende il nome di Kiro e come ben saprete fino a qualche tempo fa era parecchio ostica anche sotto linux. Fai partire xf86cfg direttamente da root , e non farlo partire normalmente con "xf86cfg" , ma con il comando :
xf86cfg -textmode E' molto + comodo che la versione grafica . Deve perforza funzionare se X è installato Ciao

.... ok, lho installato pure io e il server X, parte qualche piccolo errore, parte tranquillamente.
ho una piccola cosuccia adesso da vedere... durante l'installazione ho tralasciato la configuraione della rete... Come faccio per ripeterla... voglio dire.... come faccio per vedere la scheda di rete.. configurarla... darle il supporto per tcp/ip, ip, gateway, dns... insomma mettere il PC con FreeBSD in una rete di computer Winshit.... ![]() Grazie 1000 ![]()

Comunque , gokan, il log non riporta alcun problema , ora, o è il driver vesa che fa a botte con il server X o non so .
Comunque usa xf86cfg -textmode , deve funzionare per forza. Ciao
