Overview

Enterprise class PROTECTION and PERFORMANCE

The Dell™ PERC 5/i RAID Controller Card is a PCI Express® based Serial Attached SCSI RAID controller that provides ultimate performance, data protection and scalability for external SAS RAID applications.

With support for RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 10, and 50; the PERC 5/i provides multiple protection options to suit a wide range of applications and non-critical data. It features a high-bandwidth x8 PCI-Express® host interface, 256 MB DDR2 Transportable Battery Backed cache, and 3 Gbps SAS technology. PCI Express® provides a high performance point-to-point link for interconnecting devices and transmitting data. Ciao, la scheda supporta i dischi sata (fino a 8) (tramite l'apposito cavo), per quanto riguarda il profilo è quello standard se ti riferisci all'altezza della scheda pci-e altrimenti se ti riferisci allo spessore occupa un solo slot.
