Qual è la giusta implementazione per un'app, un admin app e la pagina def di Tomcat?

Siccome sono da poco alle prese con Apache/Tomcat, chiedo a voi quale sarebbe la giusta (e sicura) implementazione per ciò che ho in mente

Vorrei avere

- la mia app su http://x.x.x.x/
- l'admin app on http://x.x.x.x:x
- e la default Tomcat page su http://x.x.x.x/tomcat

In questo modo ho l'app su http://x.x.x.x/, ma non son sicuro se questo sia il metodo corretto

Ps: l'admin app è a http://x.x.x.x:8180/admin e tomcat a http://x.x.x.x:8180
