Mi sembra hardware un pò troppo tirato per i capelli (chissà la 485m

) ecco perchè è meglio aspettare la produzione di nuove gpu a 28nm che scalderanno molto meno anche se parliamo di fine 2012

Poi è anche vero che il sistema di dissipazione in rame fà la sua parte e aiuta, le ventole girano di più, la dissipazione interna del telaio è studiata meglio e più razionale.
Ma partiamo da un presupposto molto semplice, all'inizio solo Eurocom e Santech l'hanno proposta poi a ruota Sager e svariate marchi affini europei Guru, Deviltech, HawkForce, Kobalt etc tutti su telaio Clevo P150HM. Un motivo ci sarà stato? Sicuramente economico, costa meno di una 485 e scalda meno con prestazioni di poco inferiori ma anche perchè sarà stata testata parecchio, tanto che in America così come in Europa è proposta nelle varie configurazioni possibili. E se lo fanno, stai tranquillo, vuol dire che vanno sul sicuro.
Poi è vero che giocano sulla mia scimmia e quella di tante altre persone che in campo hardware vogliono sempre l'ultimo grido in fatto di tecnologia, vogliono sempre 2-3 fps in più. Se dovessi essere razionale attualmente il G73 soddisfa ampiamente ogni mia esigenza possibile di elaborazione, archiviazione, aspetto ludico possibile. Ma questo è marketing, un altro discorso

Ciao biglia,
concordo con il potenziale del nostro G73: la 5870m rappresenta una piattaforma ideale per il gaming in grado di soddisfare appieno gli engine grafici di ultima generazione con le uniche limitazioni delle librerie CUDA e Physys di casa nVidia.
La differenza, avendo hardware di tale livello, la fanno i singoli engine grafici come testimoniato ad esempio da Crysis 2 e Mafia II nei quali benchè il primo abbia una resa visiva nettamente superiore non manifesta gli scatti e i problemi di framerate del secondo.

Volendo invece spostare il discorso sui freddi numeri, dal forum internazionale, hanno avuto modo di metterle a confronto:

Il salto generazionale fatto con la 6970m è notevole se notate che in versione singola riesce quasi ad equiparare con configurazione in Xfire.

Se mi dicevate che il commerciale Dell ha avuto un calo in professionalità e qualità vi davo ragione senza dubbio (cosa che si riscontra facilmente anche su questo forum), perchè cerco di valutare pregi e difetti anche della marca che possiedo.

ovvio che 17! è stato sfortunato....
no non ho detto che si lamentano della rumorosità ma che è una delle prime differenze che salta subito all'occhio. Alla fine non è un grosso problema perchè le casse audio riescono a coprire il rumore, oppure molti utilizzano delle semplici cuffie...
beh è un peccato avere un r2 magari da pochi mesi e non poter fare l'upgrade della gpu e cpu. Anche perchè si tratta pur sempre di un assemblato...

Si Lucas per il fatto dell upgrade del m17x r2 si non è possibile ed è un peccato, per il rumore credimi non è elevato ,lo uso anche in idle senza musiche o suoni che possono uscire dalle casse e non è fastidioso, poi sicuramente può essere possibilissimo che l'asus sia più silenzioso,per esperienza personale, vengo da un sony vaio (oltre a altri notebook precedenti) VpC F11J1e (pc uscito un anno e tre mesi fa) e quello faceva veramente casino a livello inaccettabile e che non ti aspetti da un note marchiato sony.

Avrei una domandina tattica tecnica per Sev7en e chiunque sà aiutarmi...

Come si fà a spostare una Iso di circa 8 Gb su un Hardisk esterno e Pen Drive senza
riscontrare l'errore "Spazio disponibile non sufficiente" nonostante ci siano più di 20 Gb liberi?

Non capisco come mai a volte ho questo problema con file immagini cosi grandi,
anche mettendoli sotto .Rar
Quindi come posso fare a trasportare da un pc a l'altro?

formatta l'hdd esterno in "ntfs" e vedrai che il problema si risolve... il file system fat32 ha un limite di 4gb di grandezza per ogni file...

sono la versione 15.2.16.1... installandoli, è sparito di nuovo lo scrolling con 2 dita, ma è sparito anche il problema di compatibilità che si verificava schiacciando fn+f9... provateli... nell'archivio che scaricherete c'è anche un file chiamato "Release.txt" con tutti i changelog possibili ed immaginabili... scoprirete anche che ci sono state versioni più nuove della 15.2.11.1 che abbiamo (o che ho) usato fino ad adesso, ma che non sono state segnalate... riporto qui il contenuto del suddetto file txt (una parte)...

Uno schifo... secondo RMA appena accendo vedo che l'illuminazione della tastiera torna a funzionare in compenso alcuni tasti premendo insieme a shift non funzionano. Il tecnico ovviamente ALEPAN....

Sto iniziando a perdere la pazienza rimango sempre più indignato dal supporto tecnico che asus offre....

Purtroppo sembra che la situazione che avevo descritto a seven non sia migliorata nonostante sono passati 5-6 anni

inoltre il g73 se fatta una riparazione frettolosa e con poca attenzione e quasi matematico che una volta "riparato" vengano alla luce altri problemi.
Asus concentra al massimo le sue energie nel mercato USA. Hanno gli stessi nostri problemi però con un Gary Key in più!

Li sicuramente c'è una fetta importante del loro fatturato, quindi maggiori notebook da riparare nei centri assistenza e se i clienti si lamentano fanno più rumore!

: sulla baia, se cercate "asus g73" nei venditori internazionali, ad un certo punto troverete (alla modica cifra di 30€) il caddy per il secondo hdd (cercate direttamente "Asus G73 Series Internal Hard Drive Caddy 2.5 HDD - UK")... arriva dall'inghilterra e, rispetto ad asusparts, dovrebbero garantire una spedizione più veloce...

Guarda stasera lo scarico e in una pausa la faccio anche per curiosità, conoscevo per sentito dire Hwinfo32 ma non lo usavo,non sapevo misurasse la rotazione al minuto, giusta anche la tua deduzione che la cosa è un pò soggettiva e anche che se le ventole sono coperte il rumore deve essere per forza un pò attutito o schermato dallo chassis , mentre se sono a vista (come quelle dell'alienware ,sono 3) sicuramente è più alta la probabilità di un maggior rumore

Ciao Npc85,
il problema può dipendere da due cose:

1) La causa piu' probabile, stai spostando una ISO su un supporto formattato in FAT32 che al massimo può gestire file dalle dimensioni uniche di 4Gb
2) L'unità/partizione a cui fai appoggiare i file temporanei è piena e quindi non può eseguire la copia-spostamento (per inciso la cartella Temp).

Credo comunque che il problema sia il punto 1

il 2 l'ho riscontrato raramente però... è accaduto
