Comptel is hiring a Junior SW Engineer in Milan!

We are now looking for a talented SW engineer to join our service team in Italy. We will provide you challenging assignments from short term consultancy assignments to major solution deployment deliveries and support phase consultancy. In short we provide position with wide range of challenges and opportunities and growth path to give you new challenges for following years.

Key responsibilities

- Customer delivery project related responsibilities
- Requirement analysis, documentation and design documentation.
- Software module and component implementation or configuration.
- Integrating solution components with customer networks and billing systems.
- System testing and participation on acceptance testing with customers.
- Providing technical consultancy related to Comptel solutions.
- Troubleshooting and fixing of problems/defects related to software implementations.

Main requirements

- BTech/BE/MCA/Mtech, BSc or MSc level degree in the field of Telecommunications, Computer Science or related.
- Willingness and capability to learn independently new things and share it with others.
- Good knowledge of the Java, C and Linux – additionally our toolbox contains varied setup of tools from UNIX scripts to test automation tools and databases
- Flexible, loyal, well organized and self-driven specialist who is able to communicate freely in multinational team.
- Good Italian language skills, both written and oral
- Good English language skills, both written and oral.
- The position requires travelling.
