Salve ragazzi: per potere leggere i dischi hddvd(alta def.) quale notebook mi consigl

Sono nuovo e vi saluto tutti innanzi tutto: complimenti per il bel forum visto che vi leggo da tempo.

Vorrei acquistare un nuovo notebook(complice la dipartita imminente del mio acer 1700....),e mi interessa molto che abbia un lettore hd dvd(per i nuovi dischi ad alta definizione- per il blue ray utilizzerò la futura playstation 3),oltre ovviamente a un porta hdmi(lo utilizzerò anche come Htpc, collegato a un nuovo sharp xd1e full hd).
So che Acer e Toshiba sono stati i primi ad annunciarli(Sony invece con blue ray): ma non riesco a capire se si tratta di drive che leggono dall'hard disk oppure lettori capaci di leggere i dischi???
Mi potete aiutare???: ho visto anche Toshiba è più cara di Acer(con i Qosmio)!!!

Ho trovato in rete l'Acer 9513 che in teoria farebbe al mio caso(evoluzione naturale del 1700): ma è veramente così.Sapete darmi qualche altro consiglio???
Per finire, il dilemma su aspettare Windows vista o meno: cosa ne pensate??

Di sicuro aspetterei vista, manca poco ormai ed è inutile pagare 2 licenze e rischiare problemini di installazione e compatibilità vari. Di acer con hd dvd sapevo del ferrari 5000 ma se ci sono altri modelli ben venga, non sceglierei un notebook solo in base a quasta dote, ma dipende a cosa ti serve il portatile e se quei modelli che trovi ora o poco più avanti sono per te soddisfacenti per tutto il resto, altrimenti aspetterei dopo vista e quando un drive hd-dvd diventerà una dote ordinaria almeno su tutti notebook di fascia media o alta.

Vista dovrebbe(il condizionale è d'obbligo) arrivare a Gennaio giusto???
Ma siamo sicuri che inizialmente sarà stabile e darà le garanzie che dà ora XP(che mi ricordo quando uscì ebbe non pochi problemini...)??
Io due tre mesi posso pure tirare, ma se mi consigliate di attendere altri mesi per verificare il comportamento di vista sarebbe proprio un problema per me(anche se Vista so che sarà il massimo per chi come me vuole sfruttarlo oltre che per lavorare online anche per attività multimediali)!!!

Il 9513 da quel che ho letto sul sito di Acer è davvero stupendo(è come il 9800 solo con ilmonitore da 17 e soprattutto a circa 600 euro in meno).
Ho solo sto dubbio del driver: mi confermate che serve anche per leggere i dischi hd dvd con il lettore di cui è equipaggiato??

Giusto ho ignorato la domanda ma non ho capito cosa intendi, i dischi li legge e li masterizza (penso) altrimenti che drive è?
Vista secondo me ha senso per chi ha esigenze particolari e di lunga durata per es. schede video dx10 all'altezza. Se puoi attendere è meglio, altrimenti resterei su XP. Dipende da che lavoro online o attività multimediali fai. Per l'alta definizione wmhd o h.264 1080p qualsiasi dual core attuale (meglio se veloce) con x1600/7600 basta se c'è uno schermo all'altezza di tale definizione. Per il resto dovresti accennare qualche uso più specfico.

Non ti fai mancare niente il notebook quanto costa? di sicuro ci vuole l'estensione di garanzia a 3 anni contro i danni accidentali per un mostro così, altrimenti se si rompe son dolori, vedi nella mia firma, l'aceradvantage new edition non costa molto.
