Prova ad andare su Rete Locale > Rete, dovresti il 4060 se è collegato a 2,5Gb.

Prima avevo lo stesso valore con il vecchio ONT. Il valore che vedo credo sia impostato tramite Internet --> Dati di accesso --> Velocità di trasmissione?

Attualmente il mio router è uno xiaomi ax 1800:

purtroppo sta iniziando a mostrare i suoi limiti.
Causa domotica e casa dispersiva, nonostante un buon chip qualcomm e 256mb di ram ogni tanto "collassa" la rete wifi; credo che non regga tutti i dispositivi e tutto il traffico.

Complessivamente su tutta la rete ci sono una cinquantina di dispositivi, di cui una trentina wireless; di questi ultimi, oltre 20 sono collegati direttamente al wifi del router.

Non sono riuscito a trovare le specifiche hardware del router oggetto del thread.
Non è che voi le avete ?
Secondo voi il 4060 può reggere il carico attuale più un ampliamento previsto a breve (ho in progetto di implementare 3/4 telecamere, 4/5 shelly, diverse valvole termostatiche e due pc)?

Ciao ragazzi, ho uno Zyxel con Openwrt che funziona abbastanza bene ma lo trovo troppo complicato, sto pensando di prendere questo, ne vale ancora la pena o conviene un modello superiore?

Ci collegherò solo un pc via lan 2.5 tutto il resto tramite wifi

FRITZ!OS 8.02 contains a critical security vulnerability in the WireGuard VPN client implementation that causes silent VPN bypass for new devices without user notification.

Technical Details:

WireGuard client configuration becomes invisible in Web UI

Existing WireGuard VPN connections (configured as VPN client to external providers like ProtonVPN) remain active at system level

Port 52020 shows as active in Diagnostics → Security

BUT: Web UI shows empty configuration screen with no management options

Path: Internet → Permit Access → VPN (WireGuard) displays only initial setup wizard

Device policy enforcement failure

Previously configured devices continue routing through VPN (legacy behavior)

NEW devices connecting after 8.02 update bypass VPN entirely

Traffic from new devices routes directly through WAN without VPN protection

NO warning, notification, or error message displayed to user

Complete loss of VPN management

Cannot view active VPN configuration

Cannot edit device policies

Cannot disable VPN connection

Cannot add new devices to VPN routing

SECURITY IMPACT:

Attack Scenario:

User configures FRITZ!Box as WireGuard VPN client (e.g., ProtonVPN)

Updates to FRITZ!OS 8.02

VPN appears functional (Dashboard shows "VPN: Connected")

User connects new device (smartphone, laptop, IoT device)

New device traffic exposes real IP address to ISP/authorities

User has NO indication of VPN bypass

Potential consequences: Identity exposure, censorship circumvention failure, legal risk

REPRODUCTION STEPS:

Configure FRITZ!Box as WireGuard VPN client to external provider

Verify device policy routing works correctly

Update firmware to FRITZ!OS 8.02

Navigate to Internet → Permit Access → VPN (WireGuard)

OBSERVE: Configuration screen empty, no active connections shown

Connect new device to network

VERIFY: New device traffic bypasses VPN (use ipleak.net or similar)

AFFECTED VERSIONS:

Confirmed vulnerable: FRITZ!OS 8.02 (FRITZ!Box 4060)

Confirmed fixed: FRITZ!OS 8.10-127306 Lab (11/12/2025)

Potentially affected: All FRITZ!Box models running 8.02 with WireGuard client configuration

ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS:

The Web UI in FRITZ!OS 8.02 fails to recognize/display WireGuard client connections configured in previous firmware versions. The backend VPN process continues running with frozen device policies, but new devices default to WAN routing instead of inheriting VPN policy.

Related Issues:

MyFRITZ! registration may fail when using custom DNS servers (AdGuard Home, Pi-hole)

DNS resolution errors reported in system logs during MyFRITZ! registration

Suggests potential correlation between DNS configuration and WireGuard UI rendering

WORKAROUND:

Temporary mitigation:

Update to FRITZ!OS 8.10 Lab (if comfortable with beta firmware)

OR: Perform factory reset and reconfigure WireGuard from scratch in 8.02

Ciao a tutti! Volevo sapere se fosse possibile creare una rete mesh tra due AVM 4060.. uno master e uno slave.. e nel caso come?
ho trovato in giro info.. tipo cliccare sul connect dello slave e poi sul master ma non succede nulla .. entrambi i 4060 sono aggiornato all'ultima release di FritzOS

Esatto, anche perchè l'utente "medio" non so quanto sappia che esistono i firmware "LAB", che poi sono sempre delle BETA con tutti i rischi del caso.

Dopo un buco del genere mi aspettavo almeno un 8.03 per tappare la falla, poi per fare uscire un 8.20 si poteva anche aspettare.

i beta li eviterei.. sono d'accordo con te.. a fornte di una volnerabilitò riconosciuta e risconoscuuta.. spero che escano a breve con una versione definitiva del firmware lab
