Visti i prezzi vorrei anche io passare agli ssd.
Purtroppo ho una P5B Deluxe p965/ich8r, che supporta al massimo lo standard sata2, xò con intel Q9550 e 4+1gb ram ddr2 si difende ancora bene..
non volendo andare oltre, di troppo, ai 100e mi vedrei bene con un 120gb, visto anche che ci andrebbe solo w7pro-64bit.
Di questi cosa ne pensate:
-Samsung 830;
-Intel 520;
-Ocz Vertex3;
-Kingston Hyper X 3k(?);
-Corsair ForceGT

Quale mi consigliereste?

Sugli ultimi macbook 13" è possibile montare un samsung 830? O servono ssd con particolari firmware ad hoc per mac?

sarebbe bello capire se il trm su p67 e raid va, se andasse prenderei un'altro 830 da 256 e ownerei l'840 pro quas sempre :-)

se ha un hd normale con normale attacco sata non ci sono problemi

molto probabilmente però ci vuole per forza un ssd a basso profilo quindi non quello da 9 mm

Ci sto provando in tutti i modi possibili ed immaginabili (ho moddato il bios della mb ed ho messo gli Intel rapid storage che servono) ma non ho ancora capito se il trim è attivo o no (penso non lo è)...

Se leggi qualche pagina indietro capirai..

Beh... già nell'uso reale è una bella lotta fra i due. Pur essendo due architetture diverse (controller, Nand, memoria) come prestazioni siamo lì...
Appena esce il nuovo FW aggiornerò il mio M5P e posterò un test... sono molto curioso.

P.S.: Potresti testarlo anche singolarmente? Ho visto solo una recensione del 128GB e ci sono pochi riferimenti.

SSD uscito "ieri"... in raid... della OCZ...
Poi non lamentiamoci se perdiamo dati, o che "gli SSD sono inaffidabili".
