Ho fatto il ...travaso...dalla scheda kingston alla sandisk.....e devo dire che hexaae aveva ragione...io difendevo la kingston ma ora mi accorgo che i 20 secondi che dovevo attendere fra un colpo e altro di LETS GOLF non erano....poi tanto normali ...visto che con la sandisk sono diventati 2/3 sec.!!!

Non sono riuscito a fare la verifica la scrittura di file di piccole dimensioni con ATTO Disk Benchmark perchè mi si pianta il programma..
Ho fatto così:
Ho scaricato ATTO su pc,
ho messo la schedasandisk nella porta usb del pc tramite adattatore,
non mi ricordo dove ho impostato ne menù a tendina quale era la lettera riferita al disco remov, es. -f-
Ho premuto START e... il programma non risponde....DOVE SBAGLIO????

EDIT: Risolto...era Vista che non ne voleva sapere...con xp tutto ok...l'ho fatto a tutte e due le schede ....come faccio lo screen short per passarvi i dati????

Come puoi vedere, per file piccolissimi riemerge il solito difetto delle Kingston: transfer rate pietosi nell'ordine di 10/20bytes/s!
Se tu usassi quella microSD noteresti pesantissimi lag nella creazione delle thumb, nei giochi quando salvano i chekpoint etc.
Nota che per quel tipo di file 10vs300 = molto più veloce quasi di 30 volte. Vai di Sandisk...

le sim sono dei chip e come tali si possono guastare..i tuoi problemi sembrano tutti causati da una sim difettosa o comunque che non viene letta bene dal cell

Interessante questa soluzione inglese per il GPS, trovato ora sul forum di hdblog. Chi vuole provarla:

that you will love your Wave much more.

I won't tell you guys in details because there's a lot of information behind the story. The following is the step-by-step you need to do
with your phone and it needs "sTune" as you need to deal with files in there.

Some basic knowledge I need you to know to get along with what we are going to do with the phone.

"Wave" has one feature called "GPS Plus (GPS+)" and what is it?

GPS+, based on my research on the web, is a feature of Qualcomm chipset which works as an assistant of GPS device
to download some "data" from the server on our phone for positioning calculation.

What kind of data is downloaded?
- It is just a binary file, named "xtra.bin", which contains "Almanac" and "Ephemeris" data of the 32 sats.
Our Wave will convert the bin file "AlmFile00 - AlmFile31" and "EphFile00 - EphFile31" into folder "User/LBS/CGPS_PE"
If you'd like to know about "Almanac" and "Ephemeris", please google it as I don't want to explain here.

What is the benefit of downloaded "Almanac" and "Ephemeris" data into the phone?
- These data will help your GPS device finding the position quicker because the device doesn't have to waste time-to-communicate
with the sats to get data for the calculation. The data is valid for only "167" hours and we need to re-download the binary file again
to gain the feature of GPS+.

What is the problem on our Wave?
- The problem, imo and based on my FW ver JK1, is that the firmware is incomplete and malfuntion because it doesn't work in such a way it should.

So my solution is to refresh the data under the folder "User/LBS/CGPS_PE", "User/LBS/CGPS_ME" and manual download the binary file from the server
using "LBS Test Application"

**Checkpoint**
1. ONLY "Enable location services" is used (Setting>Connectivity>Location)
2. Access "LBS Test App" by dial code *#4097*4097# on your phone
3. Make sure that under "Application setting" menu
you "GPS mode" is "Standalone" and "GPS Device-Type" is "Hybrid"
4. Under "User setting" > "Assist Method" is "GPS+"

PS. Other features such as "Advanced GPS", "Enable network position", and "Enable sensor aiding" will NOT be used.

Some explanations;
"Advanced GPS" is auto-download feature for GPS+ to download binary file from the server
"Enable network position" - I have no idea with the feature as I don't see any outgoing connection via my router's log file. And this make
me believe that AGPS or Assisted GPS still not work by now based on my JK1 firmware.
"Enable sensor aiding" - this should be a feature that enable "magnetic sensor" but it seems doesn't work properly after checking with "LBS Test App" and LBS config file.
And it worsen Route66 in terms of accuracy.

Ok, lets start!!

1. Gently plug your Wave to the PC using USB and open "sTune".
2. Browse to folder "User/LBS/CGPS_PE" and backup all the files.
3. Delete all the files under the folder.
4. Browse to folder "User/LBS/CGPS_ME" and backup all the files.
5. Delete all the files under the folder.
6. Access "LBS Test App" with *#4097*4097# and manual download the bin file under menu "Test Application" > "GPS+" > "Download data".
Now, a valid time of 167 hours of "Almanac" and "Ephemeris" files should be ready under "User/LBS/CGPS_PE" (don't worry if there're only Almanac files)
7. Make sure the data has a valid time of 167 hours by checking at the same menu "Test Application" > "GPS+" > "Check valid time"
8. Go out side the house and do the first fix. Now you should get the fix faster and more number of sats.

PS. The time (Almanac & Ephemeris) will be "invalid" after the phone restart. You should re-download to make it "valid" unless your "Advanced GPS" is working properly.
Then you don't need manual download.

This solution is proved by many user in my country and I do hope it really works for you guys.

Lo credo anch'io.Penso che cancellare i dati del gps tramite stune sia equivalente a usare la voce "delete gps data"del menu segreto.

Volevo chiedervi un consiglio: a distanza di un anno dalla sua uscita, mi consigliereste ancora di acquistare questo prodotto o per la stessa cifra a cui lo troverei (250 euro circa nuovo in rete) ce ne sono attualmente di migliori?

Attualmente propenderei più per la prima ipotesi ma mi farebbe molto piacere sentire un parere da chi l'ha avuto per mesi nelle proprie mani.

Davvero molto interessante.
Penso che la provero'.

In pratica il tizio sostiene che la modalita' GPS+, che nel chipset Qualcomm dovrebbe migliorare l'efficenza del GPS scaricando da un server un file (xtra.bin) che contiene le coordinate dei 32 satelliti evitando quindi di doverli interrogare, sul wave non funziona (almeno sul suo JK1) causando i lag.

Siccome questi dati scaricati hanno validita' di 167 ore, lui propone di eliminare quelli presenti sul wave e forzarne un fresco scariamento tramite la funzione "LBS Test App".

Per farlo dice di:

1. usare S-TUNE per cancellare (backup) tutti i file presenti nelle cartelle:
User/LBS/CGPS_PE
User/LBS/CGPS_ME

2. assicurarsi di attivare l'opzione
impostazioni -> connettivita' -> posizione -> servizi di localizzazione

3. accedere alla funzione "LBS Test App" digitando *#4097*4097# e:
- in "2. Application setting"
impostare "GPS Mode" = Standalone
impostare "GPS Device-Type" = HYBRID
- in "3. User Setting"
impostare "GPS+ Settng" = Enabled

4. riscaricare i dati. Sempre nel menu apparso digitando *#4097*4097#:
- scegliere "4. Test Application"
- scegliere "1. GPS+"
- scegliere "1. Download Data"
- controllare i dati scericati premendo "2. Check Valid Time"

A questo punto basta uscirre all'aperto e provare.

Come nota aggiunge di attivare l'A-GPS, altrimenti facendo un restart del telefono i dati diventano invalidi e devono essere riscaricati.

Secondo me c'è da provare a fare il download dei dati del GPS+ dal menù segreto poco prima di utilizzare il GPS e vediamo se cambia qualcosa. Ma tale download va proprio fatto prima di utilizzare il GPS altrimenti mi sa che non serve a nulla.

1. hanno trovato il modo continuare lo spoofing su bada 1.2, quindi mi aspetto un nuovo Fw "revisione" stile JL1.
2. Ms ha comprato skype per 8.5 mld di dollari (speriamo che non influisca sul futuro voip nelle altre piattaforme.... compresa la nostra.

io da possessore non posso fare altro che consigliartelo, a quel prezzo trovare uno smartphone con un processore così e un display superamoled è quasi impossibile, poi dipende, se hai voglia di smanettare con 2000 applicazioni buttati su android (anche se cmq si, ce ne sono tante, ma molte doppioni e inutili) senno, se cerchi qualcosa di semplice da usare, intuitivo e con molte funzioni interessanti di default, allora vai con wave e il suo bada..non che non abbia applicazioni, ma di certo il market non è come quello android..ma in ogni caso la qualità la trovi.

per le app non è un problema...meglio poche ma buone. Poi leggevo che prossimamente uscirà una nuova versione di Bada, la 2.0. Speriamo sia compatibile anche con questo smartphone senza creare problemi e/o rallentamenti.
