The Al Aksa Martyrs Brigades, a militant faction of Yasir Arafat's Fatah movement, claimed responsibility.

# May 19: Three Israelis were killed and more than 50 injured in a suicide bombing at an open-air market in Netanya. A Palestinian disguised as an Israeli soldier carried out the attack. Both Hamas and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine claimed responsibility. Two of the victims were identified as Yosef Haviv, 70 and Arkadi Wiselman, 40, both of Netanya. Wiselman, a chef at the Park Hotel, survived the Passover bombing on March 27.

# May 8: A Palestinian terrorist detonated a suitcase packed with explosives in a crowded gambling and billiards club near Tel Aviv, killing at least 15 people and wounding 58. The attack apparently was timed to coincide with Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's visit to the United States, where he met with President George W. Bush and other administration officials to discuss a new proposal for ending the conflict.

# April 27: Three Palestinian gunmen disguised as Israeli Army soldiers cut through the perimeter fence of Adora, a settlement on the West Bank, and entered several homes, firing on residents in their bedrooms. Four people, including a 5-year-old girl, were killed in the attacks. Another seven were injured, including one seriously. Both Hamas and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine claimed responsibility.

# April 12: At least six people are dead, and more than 60 are reported wounded, in the wake of a Palestinian suicide bombing in Jerusalem. The terrorist was attempting to board a bus near Jerusalem's Mahane Yehuda open-air market when the explosives detonated. # March 17: Twenty-five people were lightly injured when a suicide bomber exploded himself near an Egged bus at the French Hill junction in northern Jerusalem on Sunday afternoon. Many of the passengers were high school students on their way home from school. The Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the attack.

# March 17: Noa Auerbach, 18, of Kfar Sava, was killed and 16 people were injured when a terrorist opened fire in the center of Kfar Sava on Sunday. The gunman was shot and killed by police.

# March 12: Eyal Lieberman, 45, of Tzoran in Samaria was killed and one person was wounded in a shooting attack on Tuesday morning at the Kiryat Sefer checkpoint, east of Modi'in.

# March 12: Terrorists opened fire, ambushing Israeli vehicles traveling between Shlomi and Kibbutz Metzuba near the northern border with Lebanon late Tuesday morning. Six Israelis were killed and at least 6 others suffered injuries. Two terrorists were also killed. Israeli forces are still conducting aerial and land searches for other members of the terror cell.

# March 10: Shots were fired at a bar mitzva celebration in the coastal city of Ashdod. A 13-year-old boy suffered moderate-to-serious injuries in the attack. The terrorist was apprehended when his rifle jammed.

# March 10: St.-Sgt. Kobi Eichelboim, 21, of Givatayim died from wounds suffered in the morning when a Palestinian gunman disguised as a worker opened fire at the entrance to Netzarim in the Gaza Strip.

# March 9: An infant girl and a 27-year-old man were killed and about 50 people were injured, several seriously, when two Palestinians opened fire and threw grenades at cars and pedestrians in the coastal city of Netanya, close to the city's boardwalk and hotels. The terrorists were killed by Israeli border police. The Fatah Al Aqsa Brigades claimed responsibility for the attack.

# March 9: Eleven people were killed and 54 injured, 10 of them seriously, when a suicide bomber exploded at in a crowded cafe at the corner of Aza and Ben-Maimon streets in the Rehavia neighborhood in the center of Jerusalem. Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack.

# March 8: Staff Sargeant Edward Korol, 20, of Ashdod, the medic of the Golani's Egoz unit, was killed by a Palestinian sniper in the Tulkarem refugee camp. The Israel Defense Forces incursion in the Tulkarem camp led to the discovery of two weapons-making facilities, a weapons arsenal, and a large quantity of explosive materials, including 10 Kassam-2 missiles. The 1,300 Palestinian men who turned themselves in were detained for questioning.

# March 7: A suicide bomber blew himself up shortly after 3:30 P.M. in the lobby of a hotel in the commercial center on the outskirts of Ariel in Samaria. 15 people were injured, one seriously. The PFLP claimed responsibility for the attack.

Another soldier, whose name has not yet been released, was killed and three others were wounded when Palestinians attacked them with gunfire and grenades while on routine patrol along the border with Egypt

# March 5: Palestinians fired two Kassam II rockets at the city of Sderot shortly before 18:00 PM on Tuesday. One of the rockets hit a residential building, moderately wounding a 16-month-old infant. Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack.

# March 2: Ten people were killed and over 50 were injured in a suicide bombing at 7 pm on Saturday evening near a yeshiva in the ultra-Orthodox Beit Yisrael neighborhood in the center of Jerusalem where people had gathered for a bar-mitzva celebration. The terrorist detonated the bomb next to a group of women waiting with their baby carriages for their husbands to leave the nearby synagogue. Six children were among the victims. The Fatah Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade took responsibility for the attack.

(Adnkronos) - La situazione a Gaza "spezza il cuore".

Cosi' il segretario generale dell'Onu Ban ki Moon ha descritto quanto ha visto oggi nella Striscia di Gaza dove si e' recato per valutare i danni di tre settimane di offensiva militare israeliana. Ban non ha avuto incontri con esponenti di Hamas, ma ha visitato una scuola delle Nazioni Unite e due edifici dell'Unwra, l'agenzia Onu per i profughi palestinesi, colpiti dal fuoco israeliano.

Il segretario generale ha chiesto l'apertura di una inchiesta su questi drammatici episodi e ha esortato le parti a rispettare la tregua.

Dopo la visita nella Striscia, la prima di un alto esponente internazionale dopo che Hamas ha preso il potere nel giugno 2007, Ban si rechera' a Sderot, la citta' israeliana maggiormente presa di mira dai missili di hamas.

A parte che molte di quelle azioni riportate nella lista non sono opera di Hamas, visto che la si vuole buttare sulla "contabilità", questo è un elenco fatto solamente di bambini palestinesi assassinati dal 29/09/2000 al 15/05/2004 nel corso della seconda intifada.
Israele mirerà pure ad Hamas, ma finisce quasi sempre col freddare i bambini sparandogli in testa...

Damasco, gennaio - L'alto esponente di Hamas che abbiamo davanti chiede di poter mantenere l'anonimato, perche' ci racconta cose delicate. Siamo a poche ore dall'assassinio di Saed Siyam nella striscia di Gaza e poche ore ci separano dal vertice arabo islamico straordinario convocato dall'Emiro del Qatar. Il nostro interlocutore ha dormito due ore la notte e i suoi occhi cerchiati e rossi lo gridano a tutti. Ci rivela che non e' l'Egitto che sta negoziando veramente per il cessate il fuoco a Gaza, ma la Turchia: almeno per quel che concerne le richieste del movimento di resistenza islamico.

Veniamo cosi a sapere che gli ambasciatori di Hamas hanno ricevuto dall'Egitto non un piano per il cessate il fuoco, ma un diktat: una tregua iniziale di due settimane, per consentire l'ingresso di aiuti umanitari nella striscia, durante le due settimane poi si dovrebbe concordare la tregua di lunga durata. Il Cairo la vorrebbe addirittura di vent'anni, ma non meno di quindici, e pretende che la resistenza firmi una resa incondizionata, rinunciando alla lotta armata, all'addestramento militare dei suoi uomini, alla produzione e all'import di armi. Durante la calma di breve durata, quella di due settimane, non ci sarebbe alcuna apertura dei valichi e anche gli aiuti umanitari ammessi nella striscia sarebbero a discrezione di Egitto e Israele. "Li abbiamo ringraziati, ma abbiamo spiegato che non e' accettabile. Il generale Suleiman (il capo dell'intelligence egiziana) era furibondo, urlava 'Nessuno tra gli arabi puo' dire di no all'Egitto".

A che gioco avesse giocato il Cairo a cominciare sin da prima dell'aggressione israeliana (iniziata il 27 dicembre scorso), il nostro interlocutore ci racconta che il 26 dicembre gli egiziani hanno chiesto a Hamas di "alzare bandiera bianca", arrendersi "e noi (egiziani) interverremo presso Israele per garantire la vostra sicurezza personale". Comunque in quello stesso colloquio, svoltosi con degli assistenti del generale Suleiman, gli interlocutori egiziani assicurarono i palestinesi di aver ricevuto da Israele garanzie che nessun attacco militare contro Gaza era all'ordine del giorno. "In queste tre settimane di guerra ci sono stati dei giorni che hanno impedito per periodi di 48 ore l'ingresso nella striscia, attraverso il valico di Rafah, persino delle bombole di gas necessarie per la sala chirurgica degli ospedali. Non solo, ma da una decina di giorni 400 uomini di Mohammed Dahlan (l'ex uomo forte di al Fatah, degli Usa e di Israele a Gaza) sono ospiti di un centro militare egiziano ad Al Arish (capoluogo del Sinai), dove ricevono addestramento dagli egiziani". Il progetto dei Quattrocento e' di rientrare nella striscia di Gaza se non sui carri armati israeliani, con il sostegno del Cairo.

Nei giorni scorsi si e' rischiato grosso sulle rive del Nilo, perche' l'Egitto non ha gradito l'operato della delegazione turca presente che ha cercato di lavorare sul piano del cessate il fuoco. Il generale Suleiman ha impedito inizialmente persino che i turchi potessero incontrarsi con i rappresentanti di Hamas, pretendendo di fare lui da messaggero tra le due parti. Poi, Ahmet Davotouglu, il principale consigliere del premier turco Erdogan, ha perso la pazienza e la delegazione di Ankara e' stata autorizzata ad accedere ai palestinesi. "I turchi hanno mostrato un approccio molto pragmatico. Hanno fatto presente a Suleiman che la proposta egiziana e' realisticamente inaccettabile per noi e hanno avanzato delle idee che possono offrire garanzie sia a noi che a Israele. Per esempio, hanno suggerito la presenza di osservatori internazionali direttamente ai valichi assieme a forze palestinesi dell'autorita' di Gaza, che a Rafah, ma solo al valico di Rafah, potrebbero anche essere forze palestinesi miste, cioe' agenti dell'Autorita' nazionale e agenti nostri. Questa presenza internazionale sarebbe diversa da quella degli osservatori Ue a Rafah, anni fa, i quali praticamente prendevano ordini da Israele, che li controllava attraverso dei monitor. Questi agirebbero come un'autorita' autonoma. Sempre i turchi hanno indicato in un anno la possibile durata iniziale del cessate il fuoco. Per noi, queste sono idee accettabili. Consideriamo la Turchia il partner con cui negoziare, perche' ha mostrato molto realismo".

Tra le richieste essenziali del movimento di resistenza islamico palestinese per una tregua figurano l'arresto completo e definitivo delle operazioni militari israeliane nella striscia di Gaza, il ritiro immediato delle truppe di invasione, "potrebbero andarsene in due ore", diluito eventualmente in un paio di giorni, la fine dell'assedio imposto all'area, l'apertura di tutti i passaggi di frontiera, primo fra tutti appunto Rafah verso l'Egitto.

Chiediamo al nostro interlocutore una valutazione sull'operato di Abu Mazen in questa crisi ? "Vede poco dopo l'avvio dell'aggressione israeliana lo ha chiamato al telefono il segretario generale della Jihad islamica Ramadan Shallah (che vive in esilio in Siria), chiedendogli di fare il gesto e telefonare a Ismail Haniye a Gaza per sapere cosa sta succedendo. Abu Mazen si e' rifiutato. Sappiamo da fonti assolutamente sicure che ieri, quando hanno appreso alla Muqata (la sede di Abu Mazen a Ramallah) che Siyam e' stato ucciso, i dirigenti presenti, e c'era anche Abu Mazen, si sono congratulati tra loro e si sono scambiati dei dolci. Cosa dire a questo punto?". Il mandato presidenziale di Abu Mazen, come capo dell'Anp, e' scaduto il 9 gennaio scorso: "Si, ma nelle condizioni attuali non vogliamo creare un nuovo problema e consideriamo la questione congelata sino alla fine della guerra a Gaza, senza dimenticare che, a conflitto concluso, dovremo pensare alla ricostruzione di Gaza".

Il nostro interlocutore ci racconta che l'anno scorso prima del vertice arabo di Damasco l'Egitto ha cercato in tutti i modi di convincere il presidente dell'Anp a boicottare l'incontro, ma Abu Mazen ha replicato "Se non ci vado, al mio posto si siedera' Khaled Meshal (il capo dell'Ufficio politico di Hamas)", presentandosi a Damasco (al vertice straordinario arabo-islamico di Doha, dove Abu Mazen e' stato assente, la poltrona di leader della rappresentanza palestinese e' stata occupata proprio da Meshal).

Anche gli europei, che pubblicamente hanno sempre voluto mostrarsi "virtuosi" nell'evitare ogni contatto con Hamas, in queste ultime settimane hanno avuto piu' di un colloquio con il movimento di resistenza islamico palestinese. "Alcuni si sono fatti vivi dicendo che vogliono esprimere la propria posizione a riguardo del fatto che non abbiamo voluto rispettare la tregua. Quando abbiamo fatto presente che la tregua e' stata violata da Israele che non ha mai tolto l'assedio a Gaza, questi Paesi sono svaniti. Ma tre Paesi europei hanno mantenuto i canali aperti e siamo tuttora in contatto con loro. Questi si sono offerti per dare una mano per uscire dalla crisi. Non posso indicarle due Paesi, se non che si tratta di membri dell'Unione europea. Uno di questi e' una potenza, l'altro ha delle ambizioni. La Norvegia e' stato invece il terzo Paese a offrirsi".

Pure sul fronte americano emergono dettagli interessanti. L'ex ambasciatore Usa in Israele Daniel Kurtzer, assai vicino al team di Barack Obama, ha avuto due incontri "come privato cittadino" con i dirigenti di Hamas. L'obiettivo degli incontri era "raccogliere delle idee". I due colloqui si sono svolti nella primavera del 2008 e nel novembre scorso, dopo la vittoria elettorale di Obama. Come non ricordare poi che l'ex presidente statunitense Jimmy Carter ha voluto vedere personalmente Khaled Meshal, e non solo lui della direzione di Hamas, sia ad aprile che nel novembre 2008.

Inizialmente spontanea, l’intifada fu in seguito coordinata da un Comando nazionale unificato, in cui fu centrale il ruolo dell’Organizzazione per la liberazione della Palestina di Yasser Arafat (all’epoca in esilio in Tunisia), ma non meno importante quello dei nuovi movimenti ispirati al fondamentalismo islamico, quali Hamas (“Entusiasmo”) e Jihad al-islamiya (“Jihad islamico”). Israele rispose dapprima con una severissima repressione, che si rivelò tuttavia inadeguata a fermare la rivolta; in seguito avviò trattative segrete con l’OLP, che condussero agli accordi di Oslo (1993) tra Yasser Arafat e il primo ministro israeliano Yitzhak Rabin.

Il bilancio dell’intifada fu pesantissimo, soprattutto per la popolazione palestinese, alla quale la protesta costò, oltre che una devastante crisi economica, più di 2000 morti e più di 20.000 feriti (tra cui centinaia di mutilati); ma anche gli israeliani ebbero molte vittime: i morti furono infatti più di 200 e alcune migliaia i feriti.

Il fallimento del processo di pace e la ripresa degli insediamenti israeliani nei territori occupati portò alla fine di settembre del 2000 all’esplosione di una nuova rivolta, chiamata “seconda intifada” o “intifada al-Aqsa” (dal nome della moschea di Gerusalemme nei pressi della quale prese avvio). Con la Seconda Intifada vi fu una forte ripresa del fenomeno degli attentati suicidi da parte di kamikaze palestinesi, nelle principali città israeliane, in particolare contro luoghi di aggregazione civili come autobus e locali notturni.
Questi atti terroristici erano stati già presenti negli anni precedenti ma non avevano ottenuto un significativo consenso politico da parte dell'opinione pubblica palestinese. Gli Israeliani, da parte loro, procedettero a a varie operazioni contro la popolazione civile come la demolizione di edifici e quartieri, nella striscia di Gaza sia in Cisgiordania, una politica di "omicidi mirati" a sfondo politico e battaglie sangiuinose come l'assedio di Jenin.



Le cifre della Seconda Intifada, aggiornate al 15 febbraio 2006, parlano di un totale di 4.995 morti di cui 3.858 di parte palestinese e 1022 di parte israeliana. Al 28 settembre 2006, a sei anni esatti dall'inizio della Seconda Intifada, molti mezzi di comunicazione riportarono la cifra di 4312 morti palestinesi e di 1084 morti israeliani. A sette anni dall'inizio i morti palestinesi sono saliti, secondo il Centro Palestinese di Statistica, a 5000 unità.

Il Servizio statale di informazione della città di Gaza ha riferito che il numero dei caduti per mano delle forze di occupazione israeliana dall’inizio dell’Intifada di Al-Aqsa il 28 settembre 2000, e fino al 31 gennaio 2007 ammonta a 5050. I feriti sono 49.760, di cui 4835 hanno ricevuto le cure sul posto. Il numero di morti tra i minori di età inferiore ai 18 anni sono 937. Quello degli omicidi mirati 481

Scusa, ma da quel video vedo come fai a dire che si tratta di scudi umani?
Anzi, a me sembra proprio il contrario.
E per giunta, il fatto che le riprese durino pochissimi secondi e vengano interrotte senza mostrare il seguito mi puzza...
Io ho visto un bambino che viene allontanato in direzione di altre persone adulte che se ne stanno tranquillamente ferme in piedi in disparte, un altro bambino, che sta vicino ad altri che stanno al riparo ed è più esposto di loro, che viene portato via di peso e fino a dove c'erano quelle persone, e chi lo trascina fino a lì, oltre a esseregrande più del doppio di lui, non si copre nemmeno parzialmente col bambino. Tutto fa sembrare che lo abbia portato al sicuro con le altre persone.
Le armi poi messe in bella mostra da un esercito occupante dopo le sue operazioni militari contro obiettivi civili hanno la stessa credibilità che possono avere le molotov esibite a Genova o il materiale pedopornografico trovato a Noriega.

azione violenta condotta da uno stato o da un altro centro di potere per reprimere movimenti di opposizione, di dissenso o di protesta.

Ah, se ascolti cosa dice le voce sotto si capisce bene.
Hamas non ha capito che se Israele deve sparare, bambini o non bambini, spara lo stesso senza problemi.
Molti bambini palestinesi, inoltre, vengono equipaggiati con armi o con esplosivi se devono essere mandati a morire.
Su Youtube e su Google trovi foto di bambini palestinesi armati di tutto punto e filmati di madri che dicono che sono felici che loro figlio muoia per Allah.

Cercando, comunque, si trovano anche filmati di soldati israeliani che mandano avanti civili palestinesi a mo' di "sonda" quando devono setacciare palazzine e centri abitati.

hanno ragione: se non hanno firmato non possono essere messi sotto processo. E' il problema delle convenzioni.
Un po' come per l'iran e il programma nucleare: l'iran non ha ratificato l'accordo sulle ispezioni, quindi gli ispettori dell'aiea non hanno alcun diritto di entrare senza permesso e ci si deve attenere allo standard del tnp. Con buona pace degli usa che non possono accampare la scusa del nucleare per tentare di mettere le mani sul petrolio iraniano e di israele che non può toglersi di torno un vicino scomodo.
Inoltre, poichè, come sappiamo tutti, dietro l'iran (e non solo) c'è la cina, sono da escludere anche azioni estemporanee tipo raid aerei e cazzate varie.
