X-Server non parte dopo aver collegato Express Card
Mi è appena arrivata oggi una express card per la porta parallela e vorrei farla girare su ubuntu.
Ubuntu me la riconosce, ma quando ho la card attaccata non mi entra nel desktop gnome ( non mi appare neppure la finestra di login -> non si avvia x-server). > Dico che me la riconosce perchè quando mi loggo (da terminale) richiedo la lista delle periferche (sudo lspci) e vedo la nuova parallela. > Se invece collego la card a sistema operativo avviato, ovviamente non vedo nessuna parallela, ma l'area desktop funziona. Ho fatto altri tentativi, pensado che il problema fosse del mio ubuntu installato su HD. Ho avviato il live cd di ubuntu con la parallela attaccata. Udite udite: neancora x-server parte e io rimango col mio terminale nero. Non ho risolto neanche provando a installare KDE4-desktop, in effetti me l'aspettavo perchè il problema è di x-server non di kdm o gdm. Allora mi son scaricato il live di Debian: qui è tutto ok Ora... io non ho intenzione almeno per ora di migrare a debian.... Qualcuno ha dei suggerimenti? sai quale e' il modulo ?
potresti provare a modificare l'IRQ mettere dentro: /etc/modprobe.conf options <nomemodulo> irq=..... |
