[GeeXboX 3 ] non funziona WiFi
Ciao
ho da poco installato geexbox-3.1-i386.iso funziona quasi tutto eccetto la cosa che mi interessa di più il WiFi sto usando questa scheda usb Codice HTML:

lo stesso computer con la stessa scheda wifi su debian configurata con la gui wicd-kde (credo??) funziona perfettamente

- provato a riavviare il servizio di rete e controllare i log ?
se ho capito usa systemd, per avviare il servizio sudo systemctl restart connman per vedere errori: sudo systemctl status connman p.s. manualmente dovrebbe essere: iwconfig wlan0 essid apname key s:...... ifconfig wlan0 192.168.1.200 netmask 255.255.255.0 up route add default gw 192.168.1.1 mettere in /etc/resolv.conf i dns p.s. non hai modo di installarci wicd? ciao
ho provato a modificare le impostazioni con Modalità di cifratura WEP 128 bit e rete visibile si collega in wifi invece non si collega quando uso Modalità di cifratura WPA-PSK AES 256 bit e modificando solo questo su geexbox in /etc/network Codice:
SECURITY="PSK" PASSPHRASE="xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"   e da ciò che letto il wep non mi sembra molto sicuro per collegmenti prolungati in /var/log c'e solo questo /var/log/Xorg.0.log (e non mi sembra avere informazioni utili per la rete) appena avviato il sitema e cosi systemctl status connman Codice:

opkg install wicd wicd-curses nano Package nano (2.2.6-1) installed in root is up to date. non hai log in /var/log ?
forse devi avviarli, che vedi riguardo a "log" da: systemctl list-unit-files per testare la rete hai provato a fare un ping al router? o a un indirizzo numerico es.: 173.194.35.120 p.s. per installare pacchetti se non puoi usare una ethernet li devi scaricare e copiare localmente Ultima modifica di sacarde : 27-11-2013 alle 10:16. |

se hai la possibilita' di metterlo in rete con la ethernet
per gestire i pacchetti: (aggiorna gli indici) opkg update (installa pacchetti, penso gestendo le dipendenze) opkg install pkg_name (rimuove pacchetti) opkg remove pkg_name p.s. http://www.geexbox.org/geexbox-advan...dministration/ |

eh si.... sembra proprio cosi'... i pacchetti sono molto limitati
p.s. c'e' una cosa che non mi torna, che il servizio: connman.service appare "disabled" andrebbe abilitato (systemctl enable connman.service) avviato (systemctl start connman.service) e visto gli errori eventuali (systemctl status connman.service) p.s. gli errori (se no si trova il log) si possono vedere nel log di systemd: journalctl -b p.s. errore simile: http://www.geexbox.org/forum/topic/h...-wifi-problem/ Ultima modifica di sacarde : 30-11-2013 alle 21:02. |

sul forum geexbox (se ho tradotto bene) avevo letto di problema simile al mio dove lo sfortunato utilizzatore aveva rinunciato a risolvere (pero usava una versione più vecchia) a causa di imprevisti per adesso sospendo tutto per qualche settimana grazie
