NOME DEL SERVER SAMBA
come faccio per cambiare il nome che spunta sulla rete windows? posso cambiare solo quello tra parentesi?
adesso spunta "Samba 3.0.20 (mio server)" grazie ciao |

Più precisamente devi editare il file samba.conf.
Cerca in /etc la cartella di samba. Come root o superuser usi vi e la editi.
