Problema driver ati su opensuse 10.2

Salve a tutti, sono un nuovo utente linux. Da poco ho installato la opensese 10.2. Sono riuscito a installare gli ultimi driver propietari dell'ati per la mia radeon x1300, e fino ad oggi funzionavano alla perfezione e i giochi 3d andavano alla grande. Aggiorno il pc, ed ho notato che si è aggiornato anche il kernel, che ora è alla versione 2.6.18.8-ccj45. Riavvio il pc e provo a fare andare un gioco con l'accelerazione 3d e mi dice:

SUPPORTO HARDWARE 3D NON DISPONIBILE

Non è disponibile alcuna scheda grafica 3d oppure il supporto non è configurato correttamente. L'applicazione tuttavia utilizza o necessita del supporto hardware 3d.

Eseguo il comando fglrxinfo e mi dice:

La cosa bella è che prima era scritto ati con le opengl 2.
I drive installati sono gli 8.36.5. Apro il catalyst e mi dice sulla voce software che sono installati questi driver, mentre sulla voce opengl mi dice che ci sono i driver mesa. Ho provato ha reinstallarli ma niente. Cosa faccio?? Grazie

Prima di aggiornare il kernel devi togliere i driver video e una volta fatto l'aggiornamento li reinstalli.
Che versione di xorg utilizzi?

Grazie per la risposta, comunque vorrei cambiare distribuzione perchè con la opensuse non mi trovo bene. Torno alla kubuntu che mi sono trovato benissimo. Grazie ancora!

ciau, puoi postare il contenuto del file xorg.conf e il log di xorg (contenuto nella dir /var/log )

anch'io ho una ati ed ci sto bestemmiando dietro per usare beryl....

Ho installato la kubuntu, mi si aggiorna il kernel, installo i driver ati e stesso problema... ecco il file xorg
