Quale scheda video?

Che scheda grafica mi consigliate per un utilizzo professionale con i programmi Archicad ed Artlantis?
Dovrei scegliere tra i seguenti portatili:
Notebook Dell con scheda NVIDIA Quadro FX 350M e video risoluzione video 1920x1200 oppure notebook Asus con scheda ATI X1700 512 MB HyperMemorye e risoluzione video 1280x800. I due sistemi hanno medesimo processore e memoria. ciao grazie

mmhhh...la quadro fx350 non so come si comporta, però sicuramente è la più bassa delle entry level professionali. la x1700 non la conosco, comunque potresti chiedere nella discussione che ho in firma per trasformarla in firegl. con la x1700 probabilmente otterresti una firegl v5200 che sarebbe di sicuro più performante di una quadro 350 (che è una scheda a 64 bit, con un bandwith bassino di 6.4 GB/sec...guarda QUI

altrimenti se non è possibile moddarla io prenderei la quadro. considera comunque l'uso che ne fai di questi software. ad esempio se si usa archicad per modelli architettonici semplici è sprecato spendere soldi per la quadro, che ahimè costa più di quel che offre
