L'organizzazione dell'E3 ha finalmente annunciato i vincitori del Game Critics Awards: Best of E3 2006, l'envento in cui vengono premiati i migliori giochi presentati alla fiera di Los Angeles. Microsoft porta a casa il premio di Miglior Gioco per Console e Miglior Gioco d'Azione per Gears of War, accompagnato dalla medaglia per Miglior Gioco di Ruolo a Mass Effect.

Assassin's Creed di Ubisoft invece, previsto sia su Xbox 360 che PS3, ottiene il premio di Miglior Gioco Action/Adventure. Eccovi di seguito l'elenco di tutti i prodotti premiati:

* Best Original Game - Spore (Maxis/Electronic Arts for PC)
