appena compilato dentro ci stanno driver dsl forniti da openwrt Ver. xcpe_574306_571801.bin, printserver, samba, ddns NO-ip, wol, hd-idle, qos, supporto usb, file system ntfs fat ed ext4 aggiunto nano come editor il vi mi fa proprio snervare, e mi sembra nient'altro. funziona abbastanza bene primo avvio lentuccio configurato ddns funzionante. Se qualcuno vuole provare la versione compilata è la r47763 ripeto è in test al momento funziona perfettamente per chi vuole avventurarsi qui il download
2'30" dall'accensione alla effettiva connessione dsl avvenuta. Fatevi un backup della configurazione precedente! Codice:

inoltre ho visto che nell'ultima build hanno riattivato l'spi-xway che è stato fixato, sembra che sia stato fixato anche il driver ethernet xrx200, non so cosa hanno sistemato di preciso nel driver. La connessione funziona correttamente sia PPPoA che PPPoE? se è così mi compilo l'ultima build e provo. A proposito qualcuno ha notato problemi con le usb? l'ultima build che avevo compilato dava problemi, appena collegavo una pendrive usb appena la montavo il router si riavviava.

Mi dareste un'altra dritta su openwrt?
Quale pacchetto dovrei installare per avere un reverse proxy? ho un serverino web e vorrei pubblicare in internet solo alcune directory, continuando ovviamente ad avere accesso completo dalla LAN. Grazie per ogni suggerimento |

Io ho avuto un'illuminazione: ho fatto caso che la (mia) rete wireless è insolitamente lenta. Un test di iperf mostra massimo 10mbit/s tra router e pc connesso in wifi. Ho ipotizzato allora che il problema tx ring full potesse riguardare in qualche modo il transito dei pacchetti dalla rete wired al wifi; nella mia rete infatti il nas (che è anche server dlna) è collegato via cavo, ma la tv (client dlna) è collegata in wifi. Collegando la tv con cavo lan il problema tx ring full non si presenta.. Non conosco bene il funzionamento a basso livello, ma l'ipotesi quindi è che - durante il routing - è il driver ethernet a dover aspettare l'inoltro dei pacchetti verso l'interfaccia (eth0 -> wlan0) e in qualche modo il driver wireless è lento abbastanza dal non permettere uno scodamento rapido.

Scusa Totix ma dove l'hai pescata quella versione ? Sembra del 2014 ma qui non la trovo: xdarklight-xdsl-firmware
Anche io mi sto spostando sul trunk, solo che mi sembra uno spreco se ognuno di noi ricompila la stessa versione ogni giorno. Se volete possiamo fare un tentativo per creare un'automatismo che giornalmente compila, la prima buon anima che riesce a testarla poi la sposta in "release" (per adesso è solo un'idea, ogni proposta è ben accetta).

Anche per me si può fare, se riesco a completare il mio MicroServer G8 lo metto a disposizione della "scienza"
Ora con soli 2 GB di Ram non è in grado di compilare e funzionare da nas contemporaneamente h24. Comunque se può servire questa versione compilata pochi giorni fa funziona bene (=si accende e naviga.. i problemi del tx ring full non li ho mai avuti neanche prima perchè non ho traffico tanto elevato): Codice:

Sono bloccato alla releasi di Totix92, la r47240. Non riesco in nessun modo ad aggiornare, piu tardi riprovo tramite bootloader con la seriale. Non mi fa caricare il filmware dalla webgui luci. Ho provato a farlo tramite ssh, ma mentre carico il .image in memoria si blocca il trasferimento.
