Hanno tolto l' uscita video sulla deluxe, ma Virtu lo puoi usare ugualmente, in D-mode (che poi è anche quello più performante).

sto assemblando una workstation per montaggio video per un amico, le specifiche saranno: mobo con Z68, i7-2600k e scheda video integrata. Tutto il resto, standardissimo.
Sto cercando una scheda Z68 con l'uscita video, va bene ASrock, asus, boh proponete voi, se mi segnalate un sito che ce l'ha a prezzi decenti.. io non riesco a trovarle!
PS come alimentatore cosa consigliate? Io pensavo ad un be-quiet da circa 500W, basterà?

Per le piastre anche con le uscite video, devi aspettare qualche giorno!
L'alimentatore va benissimo!

Ciao ,

anche nel caso di Synergy ti servirà sempre l'uscita video della scheda madre ("At least one display must be connected to iGPU") perchè agirà in maniera simile a Virtu e richiederà sempre un BIOS certificato per funzionare. Cosa apporterà rispetto alla soluzione Lucid non si sa ancora.

Qui c'è un'interessante recensione riguardante il chip Z68, fanno vedere anche i consumi utilizzando la sola VGA integrata in idle che durante la riproduzione di un filmato a 1080p

Questo non lo sapevo... ma quindi Virtu si può usare anche su mobo z68 che non hanno scheda grafica? Ma devono essere dichiarate compatibili o questo vale per tutte? A me interessa soprattutto il poter usare quicksync sulla scheda discreta, cosa che, da quello che ho capito, è possibile fare solo usando virtu.
Se ora mi dici che non serve la video integrata sulla mobo per me è ottimo e posso valutare anche una scheda che non ce l'ha

Attento, non tutte, ad esempio sulle Gigabyte Z68 dalla UD3P in su non è attualmente possibile sfruttare il d-mode di Virtu (forse in futuro, tramite aggiornamento del BIOS però non si sa nulla al momento). Sulle Asus Z68 Deluxe ed Extreme IV-Z (le prime che mi vengono in mente) invece, pur non avendo le uscite video, è possibile utilizzare questa modalità.

A me non serve la seconda LAN, quasi quasi potrei anche accontentarmi della ASUS "Pro"...
Peccato semmai per il pannello frontale con le USB 3.0

Cmq appena qualcuno trova uno shop con la P8Z68-V Pro disponibile mi avverta, gliene sarei profondamente grato
