WD TV 1a Generazione problema con mkv e avi

Ciao a tutti,

ho un WD di prima generazione che leggendo le varie specifiche dovrebbe essere in grado di leggere ogni tipo di formato mkv, avi, etc. purtroppo però non riesco a leggere molti filmati sia mkv che avi che mpeg4.

Il problema che ho è che a volte la schermata resta nera e non si sente nulla, altre volte si vede il filmato ma va ESTREMAMENTE lento, a volte si sente l'audio ritardato, insomma sono davvero pochissimi i film che riesco a vedere in santa pace.

Girando sul web ho letto che ci sono alcuni problemi di compressione o di DTS, quindi ho preso 2 video che ho provato a vedere oggi pomeriggio e che ambedue mi danno schermata nera, poi se ne avrò trovarne anche un altro che presenta il problema audio.

Vi riporto i mediainfo dei due file, ditemi per favore cosa posso fare e se trovate qualche anomalia.

c'è il tread ufficiale

comunque non vorrei sparare castronerie, l'mkv è solo il contenitore ma il formato contenuto, cioè l'AVC anche se "conforme allo standard H.264/MPEG-4 AVC http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/AVC-Intra si basa su una compressione intraframe a 10-bit"

ipotizzo sia quello il problema, la compressione a 10bit che ormai è molto diffusa

Si purtroppo però non riesco a reperire sufficienti informazioni riguardo cosa possa leggere il mio wd tv hd di 1° generazione e come eventualmente adattare i film a formati che lui sia in grado di leggere... perchè da un anno a questa parte praticamente non riesco più a leggere nulla.
