Gia' da mesi sui motori di ricerca sto cercando di trovare informazioni sul contenuto delle nuove specifiche TCO 2003 (il cui rilascio ufficiale e' previsto per dicembre 2003), senza successo.

TCO 2003 for monitors since January 2003

The Swedish organization TCO worries about the standardisation of ergonomic and ecological criteria of products such as TFT displays and monitors. Now a new edition of the quality seal before the introduction stands with TCO 03.

The technical requirements of the new defaults for TFT displays are a little spectacular, but reflect rather the status quo. Thus the TCO prescribes now minimum dissolutions for certain diagonals of the TFTs. These correspond far going to the native dissolutions, in which the panels work anyway. Thus the TCO for displays with diagonals from 17 to 19 tariff demands a minimum dissolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels, displays more largely or directly 21 tariff must with at least 1600 x 1200 pixels work. The fulfilment of this demand might represent therefore no serious problem. Same applies to those leuchtstaerke which can be furnished at least: so far 125 Cd/m² were demanded, with TCO 03 must it for TFT displays at least 150 Cd/m² be - likewise no hurdle for the manufacturers, which can be taken seriously. Again in TCO 03 for TFT displays the compelling default of two pre-defined color temperatures as well as the possibility for one are freely relevant from the user to attitude which can be occupied. An at least fulfilling color area is likewise again taken up. From mechanical view TFT displays for TCO must offer now a vertical adjustment to 03 or alternatively at least an attaching possibility after VE SA standard.

Also the TCO 03 for ergonomic reasons like their Vorgaengerin TCO 99 will not permit black or dark housing colors with TFT displays or monitors. So far appropriate displays could reach maximally a certifying after TCO 95. Since this is not to be assigned however for the end of the yearly 2003 no more, the TCO reacts with an appropriate shift. TCO 99 as then the older standard is probably aufgeweicht concerning this aspect.

With TCO 03 the ecological criteria, which concern manufacturing and recycling as well as the used materials, were intensified clearly. Here now the enterprises must fulfill higher editions. Details in addition find you with the TCO.

Certifying after TCO 03 begins so excellent of devices in the trade at 02 January 2003, will accordingly in the following emerge.

Dato che le specifiche non sono ufficialmente uscite, molti Lcd potrebbero essere dichiarati conformi dalle case in seguito, nel 2004.
Vi invito a fare riferimento sulla conformita' o meno dei modelli al TCO 2003 basandovi esclusivamente sulle specifiche riportate nei siti ufficiali delle loro case costruttrici, oppure su prove o articoli relativi agli stessi monitor. I siti di vendita (non postateli, saranno editati) infatti molto spesso contengono errori ed omissioni nella descrizione delle specifiche.

A questo proposito vi invito a segnalare:
1) siti o articoli sul web sull'argomento TCO 2003 non indicizzati dai motori di ricerca
2) articoli di riviste cartacee (nome e numero della rivista)
3) siti di traduzione da queste lingue:

Da considerare che molti articoli e prove sui monitor sul web sono spesso in tedesco, oltre che in inglese o francese. Il TCO www.tco.se , che e' l'Organizzazione Centrale dei Lavoratori Professionisti, e' comunque svedese.

Metto questa discussione in rilievo.

C'è una versione 2.0 del tco 03 che a quanto pare ha apportato cambiamenti rispetto la versione 1.0 in termini di emissioni.Dovrebbe essere attiva sui monitor successivi al 26 gennaio 2004.Qualcuno sa quacosa con piu precisione??COme individuare se il tco03 è nella versione 2.0??

Scusate anche il mio monitor che vedete in sign è TCO 99. Pagato 2 anni fa più di 500 €, cioò non toglie che il mio Delta DA 570 da 15'' (marca sconosciuta e pagato poco), sia qualitativamente superiore al mio monitor pur non avendo nessuna certificazione a parte la CE.

Veramente pensate che questo TCO 03 possa essere un metro di paragone per i monitor?

salve a tutti , stavo pensando di acquistare un monitor nuovo da 19,stavo pensando al modello samsung sm 959nf,questo però ho visto che su bow è dichiarato per essere tco 99........visto che tra un pò dovrebbero uscire quelli con tco 03 e siccome nn ho fretta , cosa mi consigliate di fare ?
lo prendo o aspetto i tco 03 che saranno migliori???( o almeno penso, visto che nn ho capito bene che è sto tco 03)

Scegli quello che ti piace di più.

Lascia perdere i consigli, all'epoca ho seguito giusto un consiglio per prendere il mio Flatron.... risultato una ciaraffo pauroso.

Io ho un monitor LG F900P.Buon Monitor con bollo TCO2003.L'ho cambiato da poco e prima avevo un Samsung 959Nf che malauguratamente mi si e' rovinato per abrasione dello strato antiriflesso ma devo dire che anche se il samsung era TCO99 era cmq superiore anche se di poco all'LG F900P che ho adesso.Tuttavia riamane anche quest'ultimo un monitor di tutto rispetto
