Daemon Tool per WinXp 64bit...

la starforce 3.6.xxxx su cd è stata già ditrutta(ma lo sanno in pochi ).Peccato che ancora ci sia da lavorare sui dvd ,ma non solo come starforce,anche le altre non si possono backuppare,ma solo emulare.

un esempio fra i tanti:

hai un gioco su cd o dvd ma ti rompi, o nn vuoi usurarlo, di dover mettere sempre il cd o il dvd nel lettore per giocarci....
allora che fai?

fai il backup, con appositi programmi, del cd o dvd del tuo gioco e poi questo backup ti rimane su hdd sotto forma di un file "immagine"

con daemon tool poi riesci a far credere a windows di avere un lettore cd o dvd virtuale, cosi' sempre con daemon "monti" il tuo backup nel lettore virtuale e lanci tranquillamente il gioco come se avessi il vero cd o dvd inserito nel tuo vero lettore

As we already heard from our customers, it fixes indeed
most or even all blacklists - however, it is STILL a SCSI-Emulator,
therefore it's still necessary to remove present IDE-Drives!

As nearly all protections now block ALL SCSI-Drives, no matter
if REAL or VIRTUAL, you need to DISABLE your ide-drives!
This version is more or less only a "next step", it does NOT
contain an IDE-Jammer atm. However, we are working on it and
will hopefully have it ready soon. So be warned - do NOT complain
about the "lack" of the IDE-Jammer-Device. We release it now,
as is. It fullfilles its job as long as no IDE is present in
System or you otherwise block that IDE-nodes. After all it's
STILL free!

Another important change is the integration of ADWARE.
Yes, we need that revenues. However, we decided to let
YOU choose to run it with ADWARE and support us - or simple
turn it OFF in installation-process and run it same way
as former versions - without ADWARE. By default, it is turned
ON - to not install that ADWARE, please UNCHECK at installation
"DAEMON TOOLS SEARCHBAR" (or you can remove it anytime later when
you wish via "Control Panel"-> "Add/Remove programs")

We leave that decision to you, so please don't blame us that we did
it that way. It was a compromise to continue the free support -
we would much appreciate it if you install that ADWARE-stuff. We set-
up a special forum so please post in THAT forum only about questions,
concerns or anything else that is related to that ADWARE. The forum's
name is "DAEMON Tools Searchbar".

To sum it up:
- NO IDE-Jammer atm - we are working on it! No ETA for it - it's done
when it's done!
- ADWARE INCLUDED - you can, however, UNCHECK that ADWARE at installation!

The changelog for V4:

- complete redesign from scratch

- support of 4 virtual drives

- ONLY X32-supported now. X64 will follow

- Drivername randomly generated on each machine (not finished yet)

- Drive-vendor and versionnumber randomly generated

- Complete new emulation architecture

- DCP (DaemonCodeProtect) to make analyses harder and increase development time for malicious anti-DT tools

- Digital signature verification of applications who are trusted to access DT in secure mode

- AutoInsertNotification fully implemented (can be turned on/off at ControlPanel)

- Dropped: MS-Installer, DT now use modificated NullsoftInstaller

- Dropped: analog sound support (as Windows 2000 and above do not need this feature)

- supports all popular copyprotections

Again: This version is an "in between" step to fix latest issues not only
with protections but also many other issues and installation-problems.
We work hard to release soon next update!

Starforce:

Io l'ho installato e mi ha fatto un casino: innanzitutto mi ha fatto una domanda in merito a qualche SCSI che non ho ben capito, fatto stà che mi è sparito da windows xp il secondo masterizzatore
Allora l'ho disinstallato l'hdd è riapparso.
Però purtroppo non mi installa più il Daemon 3.47 perchè mi da un errore strano

Non ricordo che domanda era ma son sicuro che ho risposto di sì
Comunque non ho capito se ti è scomparso il masterizzatore o l'hdd. Perchè dici che non ti installa i 3.47? Non hai provato a reinstallare i 4.0 direttamente?

mah non ho ben capito ma si discuteva dell'inserimento in blacklist degli SCSI che veniva bypassato con gli IDE disabilitati e il "Node" disabilitato ... infatti DT4 funziona per l'emulazione SF3 ma con le condizioni sopra citate [non accennerò a quale tools bisogna ricorrere x disabilitare "temporaneamente" le periferiche IDE] ma ad alcuni con SD4 e SR7 va peggio che con il 3.47

presumo che vogliano concentrarsi più sulla versione "pro" che su quella "HE / Home Edition"

Ho disintsllato la vers. 4.00 e per fortuna il secondo HDD è riapparso.... Siccome mi da un errore nel reinstallare la 3.47, ho rimesso ancora la 4.00.
Stavolta non mi ha fatto la domanda strana sul SCSI ed infatti il mio HDD secondario è tornato al suo post.

invece si, x "fregare" le protezioni DT4 ha probabilmente dovuto implementare qualche strana variazione agli IDE per nasconderli o identificarli come pseudo-SCSI o qualche diavoleria del genere ... quindi sconsiglio a chi possieda HD IDE di fare qualsiasi tentativo tanto dovrebbe disabilitarli secondo le statistiche [io nn ho tale problema ]
