norton disk doctor dice che ho 16 KB in settori dannegiati...
salve a tutti,
come da oggetto volevo chiedervi cosa significa quando win doctor, nel suo rapporto finale, dice che ci sono 16 kb in settori dannegiati. da notare che non si tratta della partizione di sistema e che ho eseguito il programma più volte avendo sempre cura di scegliere l'opzione "ripara errori" ma i 16 KB settori dannegiati restano. esiste un modo, anche utilizzando altri programmi, per ripararli? se no, che problemi posso avere nell'immediato o in futuro? grazie mille

Not a big deal!
Most likely this means that one of your hard disk platter has some sectors\clusters physically damaged and cannot be repaired.
In reality, 16 KB in today's multi-gigabites hard drives is irrelevant. From Dallas,Texas...

thanks a lot...actually i ask this because I was downloading a file with e-mule and received a sort of "writing error message"...that's why i used disk doctor
