Simply touch the trackpad with two fingers instead of one to quickly scroll or pan within the window. Every PowerBook also includes Apple's patent-pending Sudden Motion Sensor technology which integrates a tri-axis accelerometer to help protect a spinning hard drive if the notebook is accidentally dropped. Notavo che ora che la differenza tra 15 e 17 e' pochissima, di serie ora il 17 ha piu' cose del 15 SD, inserendo disco da 100 e 128mb di video la differenza tra 15 e 17 e' 200 eurI.
Prima se non erro la dotazione di serie era la stessa tra 15 e 17 e costavano di piu'.

Sono in parte daccordo con te....
Chi ha l'esigenza di prendere un Powerbook ora, ha un motivo in più per farlo..

Dimenticavo che i prezzi sono scesci dai 100 ai 200€

si anche il taglio di prezzi è cosa buona, ora sono un po più umani, cioè, almeno ora uno studente si porta a casa il 15 con superdrive a meno di 2000 euro
è che secondo me gli upgrade non sono stati quelli che la gente sperava, soprattutto considerando che la revision precedente a quella appena presentata è stata fuori un bel po di tempo(4 mesi in più del solito)....

anche la scheda video è rimasta uguale, mah.....

dopo parecchia e snervante attesa i nuovi PB sono finalmente usciti (www.apple.com/it).

Solo 2 processori, uno 1.5 e l'altro 1.67Ghz? Il 12" con la stessa scheda video di prima, Sembra una barzelletta...

Ah, i Powerbook G5 a questo punto dovranno partire da un G5 1.8.....

Mi vengono cosi'... leggendo le caratteristiche.......
Ma allora non serve una 6800GT o Ultra o una X800 per i Cinema Display da 30", serve solo una scheda con il dvi dual link. In teoria anche una 9800 o un 9600 potrebbero averla, visto che la 9700 montata sul Powerbook ha la stessa architettura.

In effetti l'ipotesi di xgear91 sulla scheda video è plausibile.
Questo upgrade (taaaaanto atteso) era già un compromesso al rinnovo completo della linea (dual G4 O g5 e/o restyling) e nonostante questo le modifiche fatte sono 'sottodimensionate' rispetto a quello che si pensava: poche novità per i 12", la VRAM nei 15" è ancora di 64 Mb, nessun disco da 7200 rpm.
Meno male che c'è uno sconto di un pò di euro (neanche troppi): comunque penso che a questo punto forse prenderò un PB da 15" piuttosto che un iBook da 14" con superdrive. La differenza è non troppo grande (economicamente parlando).
Peccato che la garanzia sia solo di un anno.
