Preso da un sito americano:

After no new G5 announcements at MacWorld expo, the info has surfaced elsewhere. A Taiwan manufacture has recieved orders to begin producing Apple Powerbook G5's. Quanta Computer has recieved orders for around 30,000 to 50,000 units per month. No word on the specifications for the new machines, but they expect to start shipping in the second quarter of 2005

Si ma se cerchi bene (non mi ricordo esattamente dove) c'è un 3D con 3/400 messaggi dove si parla delle difficolta tecniche per usare i G5. Cerca su Google "Mother of all thermal challenges" e se ti va guardati http://forums.applenova.com/showthread.php?t=3036

A me piacerebbe davvero un G5 sui PB ma lo vedo possibile solo per gennaio 06 o al max dic 05. Oggi dopo l'una spero in uno speed bump dei PBG4 più altre migliorie.

Proprio un paio di giorni fa avevo scritto dei rumours indicanti la primavera come probabile data d'introduzione. Io rimango in attesa.
