Drive Image 2002 error

Espongo subito il problema:

nel momento in cui lancio il reboot alla fine del processo di creazione di Image del HDD mi appare tale errore:

Drive image error : exit code 17
you must run dimage to dos or from resque diskettes

ovviamente non funge neanche con il resque disk.

Questa è la spiegazione che mi appare sul sito symantec:

Situation:
You are running an operation that uses a virtual floppy disk. When the computer reboots to DOS, you see Exit Code 17: "Drive overlay software prevents install of virtual floppy."

Solution:
This error means that the computer has a drive overlay configured in a way that prevents the virtual floppy from being installed. In order for the application to run from a virtual floppy, there must be available space in the Master Boot Record. Removing the drive overlay software (according to the software manufacturer's directions) should resolve the problem.

As a workaround, you can use the application's rescue diskettes to run the operation

Francamente non ho capito granchè ma ho un S-ATA HDD e non vorrei che il mistero fosse questo!
P.S. uso w2k pro ma non dovrebbe essere un problema
