Allora, ieri ho scritto alla Thermalright chiedendo lumi al riguardo...ecco come è andata!

Dear Sirs,

it was in my intention to upgrade my system configuration and passing from an Athlon Xp to an Athlon 64. I'm an entusiastic owner of a SLK900, the best AMD heatsink on the market in my opinion. I've ordered an Epox 8KDA3+ mainborad based on the new 754 socket for Athlon 64. I've read several review about this mainboard and watched many pictures of the socket itself. What I'd like to know is if this mainboard is compatible with the SLK-948 U, coz i've checked the compatibily list on your website and I've noticed that only the Epox 8HDA3+ is compatible with that heatsink. I've read in many forum that it would be possible to unchain the black plastic support for heatsink in the Epox EP-8KDA3+, to be able to mount the SLK-948 U but i prefear to heard the final word from you. Is the Epox 8KDA3+compatible with the SLK-948 U? And if not, what kind of SLK heatsink do you suggest for my new mainbord? Thank you in advance for the help you'll give me.

Dear Massimo,

Epox 8KDA3+ is fully compatible with SLK-948U. We also recommend to use a couple drops of nail polish remover when try to remove stock RM. (almost magical how much easier of removal process will be with a couple drops of the stuff) Thank you for interesting in Thermalright products.

Per carità, chi ha detto che non è affidabile?

Semplicemente la mobo non ce l'hanno attualmente, quindi cercavo un altro negozio ITA che eventualmente l'avesse subito disponibile.

Ad ogni modo li ho chiamati e si, mi hanno detto che la epox non ha chip per costruire le mobo...loro ne hanno una ventina in arrivo per venerdì o al max per lunedì prossimo...Hanno 16 ordini per il momento, quindi dovrebbero evaderli tutti
