I865:Attivare il PAT via software

Navigando per internet in cerca di una soluzione per attivare il PAT via software, mi sono imbattuto in questo post di un forum straniero

"There are two programms you need to turn on PAT.the first is WPCREDIT the second is PCITree.
At www.x86-secrets.com you see the instruction.
Set with WPCREDIT dev0:Bus0:Func:0 the register F4/Bit1 to 1.
then the hidden dev6:bus0:func:0 will be avable in WPCREDIT!
Then set in dev6:bus0:func0 the register 04 and 05/Bit1 to 1.
so the hidden MMR region in the high memory aera is accessable.
Then take PCITree and go to the dev6:bus0:func0 and look at register 10,11,12,13,14 there is the base address FECF0000 of the high memory area and edit the MMR like www.x86-secrets.com show and you have enable PAT.
Then turn off access of dev6 and MMR and write in a 0 where you befor have enter a 1 Bit.
Sorry i an Austrian(German) programmer,bad english,hehe...."

Ad alcuni con chipset I865 questo procedimento ha funzionato egregiamente........chi vuole provare??

Se qualcuno conosce un metodo + user friendly e ce lo vuole esporre è ben accetto
