p4 willy su asus
ciao
vi spiego posso mettere un p4 1.7 willy su mobo p4p800 e ram pc3200 ? dal sito asus mi dice piena compatibilita' , ma settaggi ram come vanno fatti? ciao |

uhmmmm...
 il willamette di FSB va a 100 (400 QDR) ... ora, certe MB, nella fattispecie quelle i865/875, per usare la RAM a 200 mhz (400 DDR, cioè pc3200) mi pare volessero un P4 con fsb 800... per "piena compatibilità" si intende "si mette il p4 sul socket e il sistema parte" (cosa ad esempio che non è scontata nei confronti di prescott, ma quello è un altro discorso...) non vuol necessariamente dire che si ottengono le migliori prestazioni
