Richiesta WriteProcessMemory completa solo parzialmente - Problema CD

Ola!
Ho scritto tempo fa nella sezione sui sistemi operativi, non ho ottenuto risposta, perciò ritento qui!

L'autorun ha smesso di andare (da un pezzo). Non solo.

È come se il PC continuasse a ricordare il CD che conteneva il lettore anche dopo che è stato estratto, e ne ho inserito uno diverso.
Non parlo solo dell'icona, ma del contenuto.
In pratica, i dati di un nuovo cd vengono ricaricati solo quando riavvio il PC.

Provo a spiegarmi meglio.
Il CD A è inserito nel lettore dvd (o nel masterizzatore), io lo estraggo e lo sostituisco con il CD B, ma se apro il contenuto del CD vedo ancora i dati del CD A!
Aggiorna non funziona, l'unico modo per leggere i dati del CD B è riavviare il PC. Quindi se voglio vedere un CD C, la storia si ripete

Oggi per la prima volta, cliccando sul lettore CD, dopo aver sostituito il CD di Kotor con quello di una rivista, ho notato questo errore:
"D:/
Richiesta ReadProcessMemory o WriteProcessMemory completa solo parzialmente"

Qualcuno sa cosa potrebbe star causando il problema? E magari come risolverlo? O aggirarlo? O qualcosa?
Possibilmente senza arrivare alla formattazione?

Ho scoperto l'origine del problema: era il fantasma di Roxio Easy CD 6.

Per qualche ragione il programma non si era disinstallato perfettamente e quelli erano gli strascichi che aveva lasciato sul mio sistema.

Installandolo di nuovo e seguendo le seguenti istruzioni per la disinstallazione (più in basso) l'autorun è ritornato a funzionare, insieme al normale aggiornamento dei CD all'inserimento nel lettore.
L'unico difetto è che la funzione per creare i dischi con XP è sparita insieme al programma. Ma tanto vi avevo rinunciato da un pezzo.

I'm afraid to try their solution. It say's to take off all Roxio applications. No way. Not GoBack.

How to uninstall Easy CD Creator 6 using the RoxiZap Utility

Resolution:

WARNING: THIS PROCEDURE MIGHT CAUSE ANY OTHER ROXIO OR ADAPTEC SOFTWARE INSTALLED ON THE PC TO BECOME INOPERABLE.
PLEASE UNINSTALL ANY OTHER ROXIO OR ADAPTEC SOFTWARE FIRST BEFORE ATTEMPTING THE LISTED PROCEDURE.

It has been determined that the best course of action to resolve your query would be to perform a clean uninstall of the software. This means in addition to removing the program, also removing settings and files that may not always be removed during the normal uninstall procedure.


1. Download the RoxiZap application

a. Click on the "Start" button, and then click on "Internet Explorer". (If you do not use Internet Explorer please open your Web Browser)
b. In the address bar type in the following internet address and the press the "Enter" key

c. When the window appears prompting you to "Open" or "Save" the file, click on the "Save" button
d. In the pull down menu titled "Save In" select the entry marked "Desktop" and then click the "Save" button

2. Uninstall Easy CD Creator 6 using Add/Remove Programs

a. If running Windows 98/ME/2K click on the "Start" button, then select "Settings" and then select "Control Panel". If running Windows XP click on the "Start" button, then select "Control Panel".
b. In the "Control Panel", double click on the "Add/Remove Programs" icon.
c. Highlight the "Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator 6" line and then click either the "Remove" or "Add/remove" button to uninstall the software.
d. If prompted to reboot the PC choose "NO"
d. Once the uninstall is complete, do not reboot your PC.

3. Running the RoxiZap application

a. Close any open applications
b. On your desktop locate and double click on the "RoxiZap" icon.
c. This will launch the application and ask if you would like to "Zap Easy CD Creator 4 or 5", click the "Yes" button.
d. Read through the information on the license screen and then click on the "I Agree" button.
e. Once the removal process is complete you will be prompted to reboot the PC. Click on the "Yes" button to reboot your PC.

Easy CD and DVD Creator 6 has now been completely removed from your PC.

4. Re-install Easy CD and DVD Creator 6

a. Place your Easy CD & DVD Creator 6 disc in your CD drive.
b. Within 5-10 seconds you should see a prompt saying the disc has been detected and asking if you would like to install the program.
c. Continue with the installation and reboot the PC when prompted

NOTE: If during installation you receive a message saying that there is no CD recorder detected and your CD/DVD recordable drive is supported by the program, choose to continue with the installation because support for your specific drive may be added by an update for the program

d. Download and install the most recent program updates for Easy CD Creator. These updates fix issues since the product has been released and adds support for additional CD/DVD recorders. To download the updates please go to the web site listed below.

e. Once you download and install all the updates ensure that you restart your PC before using Easy CD & DVD Creator 6.
