Sinceramente io sono convinto che era xjvf ma comunque non funziona nelmeno con gli altri 2 commandi

sembra non trovare l'eseguibile di bzip2. se dai bzip2 --version che dice ??

leggi bene le ultime righe. ti dice che mentre controllava libz è avvenuto un'errore di tipo "not found" che è autoesplicativo .
apt-get install libz-dev dovrebbe risolvere il problema.
il concetto è piuttosto semplice la maggiorparte dei programmi fa uso di librerie scritte da altri. per farli funzionare hai bisogno dei pachetti conteneti i binari mentre se vuoi compilare un programma hai bisogno anche dei pachetti -dev che contengono i file necessari al compilatore.
