Far Cry rimandato si sapeva ... di X2 invece non so niente. Do un'occhiata in giro

X2 non lo conoscevo: leggendo ciò che ne dice Gamespot [e ne parla in termini molto lusinghieri], sembra appartenere allo stesso genere di quel capolavoro che è Freelancer, mi sbaglio?

Allora chiariamo la questione...X2 the Threat e' andato in Gold solo per l'America e uscira' verso la meta' di questo mese.
La versione EUROPEA, invece, e' stata rimandata al q1 2004 e precisamente a Febbraio per consentire un lancio su tutta europa.
Ecco il comunicato della egosoft nel forum ufficiale:

"X² - The Threat European release

The localisation process requires more additional time for testing and Q&A than was expected. Due to the importance of a simultaneous pan-European launch in all the major territories (UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and Italy). Egosoft and Koch have agreed to set a new street date of Feb 6th, 2004. This new street date will also allow the developers to enhance even further, key aspects of the game-play and graphics and make the European version of X2 worth waiting for.

To those that have pre-ordered via Egosoft’s website we can only apologise for this unforeseen delay. We therefore suggest that you either wait for the European release and your copy will be shipped, together with your complimentary pack of “X² - The Card Game”, as soon as we take delivery or of course, accept our deepest apology and cancel your order with us. All pre-orders will receive an email in the next few days detailing this.

It is not possible for us to ship other localised copies (for example, United States of America or Australian) via our European operation due to our contractual obligations.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding in this matter.

Per quel che mi riguarda, mi stupisco quando un gioco rispetta la data di uscita (dicono che sia uscito Max Payne 2, boh, io non ci credo...), non quando viene rimandato.

Anche solo per pura curiosità, ritengo improbabile che i giocatori più smaliziati non usino il muletto per dare una sbirciatina!

Sempre le stessa storia... DooM III, forse, nel 2005 lo riusciremo a vedere ... Half-Life 2 forse un po' prima... e per Duke Nukem Forever ? Apettiamo il 2010 ?

L'unico gioco tra tutti questi che prometteva bene era proprio Far Cry... ed ora cominciano a rimandare anche quello...
